Today I finally received the PR card in the mail.

Congrats so ppl who landed in Aug are getting their PR cards now ;D
I landed on Aug 4th...waiting for PR card

On last Saturday August 8th I became a Permanent Resident Yay!

Application received: March 30 2014
AOR received: April 25 2014
Medical request: May 14, 2015

-Extra documents request (T4, pay stubs): May 22, 2015
-Original FBI clearance certificate requested (I attached a copy of it with my PR application before): June 30, 2015

RPRF request: July 7
Decision made: July 31, 2015
CoPR received: August 6, 2015

On August 8th, 2015 I went to Niagara Falls to finalize the process to become PR.
Now waiting for PR card.

I am an April applicant and my E cas status change last weak adding three more sentences like,

We received your application for permanent residence on April , 2014.

The same day I got an email for medical request for my wife. Which I send the one she did for work permit but sending via email, i did not get the auto acknowledgement email. I also send it via surface mail. I did for my self an upfront medical and pay the RPRF as well in July 2015. My question is that why they ask me medical again for my wife while I submit it with the document when I was adding her to my application. Her medical is 5 month old only at the moment.

When I should expect a passport request..

Today I finally got email from CIC for passport request . My approximate timeline:

Sent application package: 2014 March 7th
AOR Received: 2014 March 20th
RPRF request and medical exam request: 2015 March 27
Passport request: 2016 Jan 29

Aaaaand I finally got my COPR a few days ago. Will be doing the "landing" coming back from a holiday in March and from there I'll just need to wait for the card. Holy goddamn this was the longest process (he says, until starting citizenship applications...).
