Going to VFS chennai on Monday...If someone has recently visited VFS, can you tell me what are all the docs we should carry...Paasport for both of us, 2 photos and passport request letter.;D ;D ;D ;D very happy

Does anyone know if medical received on ecas means doctor has uploaded? Or it means cic has passed medical eligibility?

That means your medical results were tagged as passed by CIC now wait for PPR

Not necessarily that the next stage is PPR, could be a lot of other things

At LAST! PR Application -> Completed! :)

Tonight I went to the border (Queenston-Lewiston Bridge) crossed to the US side, came back to do my "Landing".
The border was almost empty, I was the only person who is for Immigrant Landing. So there was no waiting time.
The Officer who processed my paper was extremely polite, in less than 20 minutes he completed everything, asked me to sign the CoPR and congratulated me, wishing me all the best in Canada :)

One interesting fact, that the Officer told me regarding the PR Card is that even without a PR card, I can still cross the border (by car) and come back. I may make a scan copy of the CoPR. But, if an immigrant wants to use an international flight to leave and come back to Canada , then you will need a PR Card. (The airline will demand it. Unless if you are from a visa exempt country) Interesting fact which is good to know :)

For detailed timeline, check my profile and the dates on the left.
(Interesting fact: In exactly one month, my PR Application, went from Application Received to IN PROCESS then to Decision Made and now to COMPLETE :D)

It was nice spent time with all of you fellows , PR Applicants! Wishing you all the luck! :)

Hi all

My timeline is on the left. Medicals received by CIC on 23rd April . I am waiting for my PPR.

Today I called CIC and the call center rep informed that CIC sent me a letter on 10th April and I have not received any letter on 10 April. My MR and RPRF were on 9th April. I asked them if they are talking about MR or RPRF but they said no there is some other letter which they sent you and you never received. CIC call center rep has a note for the VO to re-send the letter and they say the VO might take upto 3 months to sent it. I am a bit tensed now what can that letter be about .. kinda worried... Please anyone in such situation advice.. :( :( :( :(

any idea what that letter can be my GCMS notes every thing was passed except eligibility for which they asked me a new LOE and I sent that, once i sent the new LOE I got my MR and RPRF...

did the call center verify your application?? if so you can ask whats the last update and what its pending for or something like that...
i believe they should tell about it.

other best approach would be to approach MP as they would get you information in very short time... that way you would be able to get to know like what exactly is happening...
