Hi Folks,

I am a March applicant under the CEC class and received the COPR on 01 Dec 14. Plan to land on 28 Dec 14.

I received a call from CIC this evening? A lady left a voicemail indicating that she was calling from "Canadian immigration" regarding my PR application. Has anyone else received a call from CIC after the COPR is issued? :'( My application was very straightforward and met all CEC requirements.

I received my passport back on 8th December.
Passport reached CIC on 13th November.

Today in morning at 8AM, i got call from CIC to perform my landing at their office, but i tell them that i will do my landing at border over this weekend because they are far away from my place plus they are closed on weekends.

She laughed and said "OK NO PROBLEM".

Did anybody else received call from CIC office?

+1 for the solution. Yes many reported getting call to do inland landing.

Keep cool. I am sure the call from CIC is to do inland landing, call back on the same number and check if you can get someone on line.

Finally, my return tracker got activated yesterday. My passport reached CIC on Nov 24th.

Sad part is I had to cancel my vacation. Was suppose to fly out yesterday.
