Hey Guys, my ECAS was updated today that 'Medical results have been received'. 8)
I had done my medicals last year before coming to Canada.

Such a relief and so good to see that CIC remembers me! :-*

I would suggest you have a new PCC ready prepared in hand. In case, if they ask you for a new one, you will just send it right away.
My case was, that two weeks ago (Tuesday 7th October) , they asked me to send a new PCC with an updated IMM5669 form. Which I've sent last Tuesday. (Still no MR, yet)

Hope they don't ask you for additional docs, but it is good to be always prepared :)

Hi Guys, I have a question and hope anyone in this group can guide.
I had applied for my PR under the NOC Code 0114 and under CEC category. I recently lost my job and currently looking for a new job. Is this situation going to create any issues for my PR. I checked few sites which mentioned its not going to but still wanted to check with my fellow group members.

Hi Friends, I received my medical request and did my medical examinations on 17th Oct. Today the doctor called me and said that the chest xRay shows some abnormalities and the radiologist has given comments like 'she is not sure what it is but can't rule out TB'. I don't have any past history of TB.

First option the doctor gave to me is that i can go for a second test after two weeks but since this is e-reports they may or may not be able to upload the file. If they are able to good and if not then it will get stuck and he is not sure what will happen if it gets stuck. I am 100% sure i don't have any problem in chest and second xRay should come good. But afraid what will happen if it gets stuck.

Second option is he will send the report as is and if CIC is not convinced they will ask for a second xRay after 3 months. This will anyways delay the complete process.

Can anyone suggest what should be done here?

Do you smoke ?

I don't smoke.

Look there can be many reasons behind that but there is surely nothing to worry about. Many had this issues before.

You can find more information on below link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf

OR

Just google "abnormalities in chest x ray canada immigration"

Hope that helps.

Thanks but i am still in dilemma.
Should i ask the doctor to send the report as is and wait to hear from CIC or should i do the second xRay and try to get it uploaded. I have gone through this document and it doesn't help much.
