Thanks Toby!! Sent them copies of my spouse renewed passport.

Canada Post isn't really reliable.

I got a RCMP finger print check request in E-mail 15th of May.
After I went down to the local police station to get it done, I get the certificate on 23rd
I sent it out via Regular Parcel on 27th

My Parcel arrived in Ottawa on June 1st (it's weird, because it was Sunday)
Since no update at all.

I tried to contact Canada Post.
They are the most incompetent customer service people in the world.

I'm getting it done again, today, this is ridiculous.
This time I'm not using Canada Post.

I send my documents Express so I can track it and make sure it is delivered, sometimes with a signature. a little bit more expensive but it's worth it

Yeah, I got the tracking number and all, this time I'm just using purolator.
Canada Post doesn't even have a customer service

I agree about Canada Post. I recently sent an "express" post to Ottawa which was supposed to be delivered in 3 business days.
The online status shows they tried to deliver on Friday at 11 AM and the business was closed!!
The second delivery attempt was made on Monday at 5:40 PM. Once again business was closed.
Finally delivered on Tuesday at 11 AM.

The first delivery failure is unacceptable since I am sure the business was pretty much open.
The second attempt was (funny) made after business hours. That's irresponsible behaviour, specially for an express post.
Total delivery time 5 business days. >:( >:(

Hi, so my PCC has been delivered. But this freaked me out

Jun 17, 2014 9:05 a.m. Ottawa, ON
Shipment delivered to DIANE at: ALT ADDR of C I C 219 LAURIER AVE W K2P2K9

'Alternative Address'? I wasn't really sure. I know they have another CIC Office down the street
off of Catherine, K2P 2K9. But I specifically sent to 219 Laurier Ave W. 7 floor section B

1. I wonder if it will find its way to the right authority. :(

2. How do I know if they received my PCC?

3. Should I send them an Email explaining?

thanks and good luck every one :D

I have sent my PCC on below address via Canada Post. Once document had received at Ottawa office. On same day, I have eMailed a soft copy of PCC documents and courier tracking note that I have forwarded my hard copy of PCC and attached soft copy for your reference with tracking details.

Do they let you know if they've received the PCC?

Till now, I haven't receive any update from them.... Almost one week has gone.

But we need to submit our home country PCC ASAP before it will expire. Hence, I have sent Hard copy then updated via email with attached softcopy and courier tracking / signature details.

At least, we have proof that we have sent on time.

I've submitted the PCC from the country of my origin; this one is for RCMP finger print based clearance certificate. My E-cas is still "Application Received" and no other details :()
