yes I did receive one this morning as well I am looking up right now the fastest way to do it. it seems like if I get my fingerprints submitted electronically it takes 3 business days only

Yep I'm driving to the greater sudbury police station within a couple of mins. 3 days only when you get it done electronically.
Hmm I think I heard that MR comes soon after, is it even possible to get the PR approved before nov this year?
that will be crazy just hoping hehe

I received RCMP request today. Though I applied for PR for me and my wife, CPC has asked me (no such request for her) to get to go through this criminality check!!!

I guess this is random?

I had this done for my previous application as well.

I received RCMP Reqest 11:27am.I did with fingerprints it cost 56.60

Though RCMP request is not mandatory for all, Good to hear some activity for March applicants.

Hi everyone,

Have you guys submitted the PCC from your home country along with your application? Reason I am asking is I have submitted RCMP with my app, but sadly my home country(India) PCC processing time is too slow and I am will be able to send it only after July.

If you can let me know, I can think of further steps to get my India PCC faster.

out of curiosity i want to know how is that you all have a beautiful graphic in the bottom showing your journey towards your PR application and ur statistics below your name how to get that on my account...

Yes I have submitted my PCC along with the application. I got my PCC done within 2 weeks !! I had read in this forum that if you have applied for PCC and your residence is in Bangalore, Chennai and other metros you will receive within 2 weeks. However it all depends on case to case, did you apply from Canada ? If yes and your city is one of the metros in India you should be getting in 2 weeks or max 5 weeks with exception that you don't have any red flags.

Thanks for the info wonderclicks. Yes mine is a metro, but I read somewhere that if the passport is issued in tatkal without police clearance it might take them few weeks to do the verification & issue a clearance. I dont want to give my original passport & work permit papers to the consulate. so I planned not to apply here & apply it in india in july as I will be visiting anyway. But do u think they will ask me to submit it before that? In that case i have no option other than to apply now and wait & hope for the best. What if i dont get it before july, will they let me take back my application & passport to travel to india?
