I received my notice to appear for the test today (Aug. 22) in the mail .

My timeline is:

Received: 03/14/2014
In Process: 04/25/2014
Received line disappeared: 07/25/2014
Test date: 09/12/2014 in Scarborough

E-cas is not updated to show a test date yet.

Here you go, MARCH 2014 guys are getting Test dates. ;D

Yes, it's on a Saturday. On ECAS it said: "*Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays."

I called the cic office today...............According to the representative, my application is still at Sydney. It has not yet been forwarded to the local centre.........

My timeline is:

Received: Mar 21, 2014
In Process: April 30, 2014
Received line disappeared: Either August 09 or August 10, 2014 (One of them)

My question is:

Should I go for ATIP?

My received line disappeared on July 13th, and my file reached local office August 1st week.

So, it takes 3 to 4 weeks for transfer.I would suggest you wait till August end. :-X

Nothing for me or for my daughter
My application is for family (My daughter and me as adults and my son and other daughter as a miners).
I sent the application in September 2013, but they returned it many times for some missing documents for me and the children, only the adult daughter's documents was completed. The receiving of the document is different.

This is my date line :
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 5, 2014.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 5, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We started processing your application on April 11, 2014.


This is my daughter's date line:

We're still waiting for my daughter's (Barbie) notice for test. Although, you almost had the same timelines esp when the received line disappeared on end of May, her file was transferred to Surrey on Aug. 1, 2014. Let's see how many months it will take for Surrey office to schedule her for test.

Woohoo I got my test invite today!! Sept 5 at Scarborough! Ecas has updated too, says they sent me a notification on august 19th which is the same date on the letter. Best wishes to all other March applicants who are writing their exams and good luck to those waiting to get test dates. Hang in there folks!

Please let me know what docs i need for identification (PR Card + Driving license + OHIP Card + CORP).... I left after Canada after i applied. and got stamped a 02 years family visa in my passport, from a GCC Country. will there be any question / problem in interview ? ... I am planning to travel alone to Canada to attend test. Do i need to also bring my 10 years old Kid who applied with me ? how many days Scarborough takes to schedule oath after test ?
