Whether whole PR timeline depends on your NOC code ,like professionals who are really really important for Canada get quicker response ..is it like that?

not really buddy , i am a good example , my noc is 2174 one of most required both by CEC and FSW processes, i believe its totally random, though i have to agree their is definitely some priority give to some applicants , but factors are unknown

I believe it depends on the job market which changes at least on a monthly basis. And I hope they prioritise based on that. Just a thought!

It also depends on intended occupation and place of occupation, country of citizenship. Dc0874 is a pilot, which, in my opinion is a hot skill.

You are right, timelines do depend on more than just your NOC.

Clarity of application (is it straight forward or does it need more review)
Supporting evidence (did you include everything or do they need to consider explanation letters)
NOC (is it in demand)
Country of citizenship (visa exempt or not)
Background (do you have extensive travel)

And this is just a part of it. I'm sure there are other factors that influence the speed with which an application is processed.

@ mady: my e-CAS was set to "in process" 8 days after I received the AOR.

@ eds: thanks for the "hot skill" It is an ordinary occupation, it only sounds cool.

I can't believe that my background would justify a faster processing. But I would like to agree with CEC2013 regarding the clarity of the application ... I explained everything in a "Letter of Explanation"when I had trouble with a question in the CIC form or simply to clarify some situations. I also responded to CIC requests usually the same or the next day in order to keep my file/application on the officers desk.

That is all I can say, nothing special about my application.

I mean how CIC deploy them.

Some get all together, some get RPRF first, some get after MR and some only get them at same time as decision made / PPR!
