Does that mean people whose application show received status as against in process would have a delayed response ? Also can u share the details of that applicant ?

Yep!!

Us 'RECIEVED' applicants will have a longer processing time. As I mentioned in the other thread this isn't fair, no point in me harping on. We could be looking at processing times of 6 months for these 'In Process' applicants. I'm pleased for them but we have to wait longer. Just the way it is im afraid, your either lucky or your not.

And sorry no explanation , this is Canada. You don't get an explanation

Hi Suvan
We all should refrain from making theories based on just one case. There is always a reason behind everything. Your posts sound very complaining. Waiting84 or any other "in process" applicants did not send any extra request or CAD$$$ to be the chosen ones.... :D. Also if you think Canada and its systems are unfair, why choose to live here permanently... 8)
Its a random selection done by CIC and even random things have an order (complex though.... principle of entropy).... :D
I am only trying to request you to take this situation on a lighter note. Looking at your timelines, you have only started this process; there are people who have been waiting for 12-14 months with "application received status", your comments are not doing any favour to them as well.

Hi pm i have a question , how can we term the application processing as random because cic itself says its done in order , where as I am increasingly hearing the news that there is no order , is that so ?

Hi Mady
When I said random, its not for the CIC application process, its for "how few applications are in process status, and others are application received". Since we don't know what parameters made few applications to be picked up and processed faster (as example one case from Jan 2013).
I believe there is an order in CIC application process, one step follows other; however its different timelines for different applications based on several factors.

Hi All,

I already applied and received my AOR. Also, my status shows in-process. I have PCC pending to send which I expect to get by next month.

Recently, at workplace my team-lead agreed to give me a letter of reference stating detailed description about my roles and responsibilities. Since, I work on a daily basis with him, he is the best one to provide such details.

The current one which I have already sent with application has the following content --

-------------------------------------X------------------------------------------------------------------
To Whomsoever It May Concern
This is to certify that XXXX Employee # 111111 is employed with CCCCCCC on a full time basis since 7th Nov 2007.
He is deputed to TCS – CANADA effective 12th Oct 2010, designated as QA Test Co-ordination
Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. His approximate gross salary is CAD 99999 per year. His regular work
hours are 40 hours per week.
His responsibilities encompass the following – Test Planning, Test Strategy Formulation, Analyzing
Requirements, Ensuring Testing Process and Standards are followed, Creating Test Data Requests,
Execution of Test Plan, Variance Life-cycle Management and Test Status Reporting.
XXXXXX is currently residing in the following address, as per our records: 99 Toronto
Street, Toronto, ON OOO OOO
This authorized certificate is being issued to XXXXX for the purpose of Leasing an
apartment . Please do not hesitate to contact me if any further information is required.

For CCCCC
Sincerely,
HR Manager - Canada
Address:

--------------------------------------------------X------------------------------------------------

My HR Manager told me that they do not support immigration and hence, the purpose of letter is "leasing an apartment"

Currently, my team lead has agreed to provide me a letter with more detailed roles and responsibilities. Should I send along this extra letter along with my PCC and NOA which I am going to dispatch next month ? Would adding one more reference letter jeoparadize my chances ?
