Hi Paul_c

you applied under CEC catagory and i see you have more than 1 NOC code listed here. Does that mean an application may have more than just 1 NOC codes?

I added my details in the excel today.
And I am also wondering what is it about two NOC codes, I saw two persons with 2 NOC codes.

Hi All,

I have a 9 months of experience in which i got paid on T4 + 2 months of contract + 7 months of contract position for which i am getting regular salary but not T4 and will be doing my own taxes.

So I am just wondering if that adds up to my 12 months of experience even if I dont have the T4?

Please help. :(

I am a Software developer so my NOC is fine.

If yes then i will apply by march end as well!!

Any periods of self employment (where you were paying your own taxes) cannot be counted towards CEC. Only skilled work experience / employment are counted (where the company pays your taxes and you receive a T4).

Hi Everyone,

I want to apply for CEC according to the new rules. I have one year experience from September 2010 - August 2011. Also, I have ielts which is valid for another 3-4 months. Am i eligible to apply?? I have already applied for FSW2, can I apply for CEC without withdrawing the other one? Also, all the documents like experience, ielts etc must be valid till the application date or valid till it get processed? Please reply

I am not sure my friend since I have not seen any post like that in this forum. Try searching the forum posts or let us wait for more responses.

They won't. I am pretty sure that they only consider the application date for the expiry date of your IELTS results.

Yep- I actually have 3 codes for different 'skilled' jobs that I have worked over the last 3 years in Canada. This is allowed. You have to have over 1 years full time (or equivalent) experience. It does not state anywhere that this must be in 1 job only. This would only be relevant in 'Skilled Worker' or 'PNP' routes of immigration.
