He didn't have a stamp so that's why he just wrote on the back. Anyone could go out and buy a stamp as well though??? I would think seeing as they will have a copy of our passports (where we look very different) they could tell that the photos are not old?

Anyone else send photos on with no stamp just writing?

I sent our's 2 day's ago I just hope we did everything right ,my husband and i are very nervous and hope we get a YES. We been married almost 2 years
and find it very hard to be apart like this, we spent every night online and cam together but its just not enough anymore..

I sent photos without stamps (just writing) when I applied for visa last year.. had no problem at all..

but why take a chance?

I suggest u start filling the application forms and apply on maybe 27th.
You will need
a police chk from backhome and from here; and the letter from your employer as described by CIC

assuming that your NOC code is 2242 , you fall under skill level B . the minimum for skill level B is CLB 5 ( in terms if IELTS score, its Listening 5 Reading 4 Writing 5 Speaking 5 )
Your are well above those limits. Incase you fall under skill level 0 or A. the minimum CLB is 7 ( in terms if IELTS score, its Listening 6 Reading 6 Writing 6 Speaking 6 )

I am planning to put my file for CEC. my questions are as below. I hope someone can answer them. Thank you.

1) for CEC program one has to have a job offer. Does this job offer need to be one of the titles listed in NOC list? or ANY job offer is valid as long as my employer is willing to go ahead with CEC process (LMO etc)?

2) When applying under CEC, As far as i understand my current experience need not match the job offer. As long as i have a valid job offer in CANADA i can go ahead with the CEC application. Am i right here?

3) CEC is more like H1B1 visa of USA. So do we have any CAP/Quota for CEC catagory? or its open program.

It never said on papers you need a stamp on your pictures i did not stamp it but it has date on pics..

There is no LMO process for CEC, CEC is for people who already have 1 year work experience in Canada. this 1 year experience can be anytime in last 3 years. So the candidate applying under CEC need not be in Canada or current job offer. there is no way similar to US H1B program.

in the Document list, for the copies which we are providing like, Passport copy or Marriage certificate copy.. does it have to be notary certified or it can be a normal copy is enough??

Someone who is Applied already could help me..

Also for the National Identification I am planning to give, Quebec Driving license and for my wife I gave Quebec Medical card.. is this sufficient??
