Hi, how did you know that your application was received ? Could you please explain the process to check whether our application is received or not ?

When you mail you application via courier they give you a tracking number and you can check to see that the package has made it to the intended address.

ugh, just realized I sent it to the courier mailing address with canada post :-[ will that be a problem? Hope they just mail it to the right place since they are close to each other :-[

I checked with Canada post on this as I had confusion that XPress post is courier or regular post. She said, if you are using their Xpress post service (or priority) it is considered as "courier" not regular post, hence I should send to CIC "courier" address. Which also means, Xpress post or priority needs someone to receive our item, so it should go to courier address where some one will be available in person or so. I also added 'signature' option for another 1.5 $. I tracked the application and also saw the receiver signature online.

So if you are sending by regular post (not xpress or higher) it should be sent the regular post address (however it may not be a big issue I guess)

via CANADA POST... but No AOR yet.. it would be next month.. they will send an email for the AOR.

me and my husband started processing our PR application. We got the IELTS exam date as 27th april means the results will be published by may 11th. As the new categories list is about to publish by may 4th, is there any problem foe thus? usually how long will it take to fill the vacancies.?

Plz reply as earlier as possible because we are really tensed..

great.. I didn't understand why u need to apply if your country of origin/citizenship is Canada as you wrote in the spreadsheet...

I don't think the new publication on May 4th will affect CEC category..

Has anybody got any response who applied on 1st march...???
I just got my application back because I used old format for IMM 008....?

Now still they have not refunded the fees but what should I do should? Because in the letter they have mentioned that we have refunded the fees and when you apply again please pay the fees again.

What about the reference letter do I need to get the another letter or the same letter would work since it's just a month old!!!!1
