jsm0085 said:1) Did you send the app recovered delivery? Have you checked the delivery status with the tracking info?
2) Have you checked your spam folder etc for the AOR e-mail from CIC?
3) Have you tried to login to ecas?
- ttps://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en
- You need your DOB, surname, country of birth and your UID (0000-0000) which can usually be found on your work permit.
- If you can login to ecas, chances are the AOR has somehow been lost but your application is/will soon be underway.
Let us know how you get on?

My guess is that they are returning it by mail due to an incomplete application. My friends sent an application around the same time you did and got it back by mail this week. This means you get to resend it without losing your fees.sues murph said:Thanks jsm0085 for the suggestions - much appreciated.
I have a POD via email from FedEX dated delivery to Sydney, NS as March 12, so I know for sure they received the envelope.
I have been carefully watching my inbox as well as my spam/junk folder for anything from CIC since before the expected date for the AOR email - no joy!
I just tried to log into ECAS using both the UID no and the receipt no and they cannot find any information on our application under either identification.
I'm worried it was rejected, but if it was rejected surely it would have been returned to us by now, no?

Thanks noc4012. That is what I am now assuming too something is incomplete/missing in the application. Nothing in the mail yet but perhaps this week. At least I get to resend it and won't have to pay twice! It just means longer waiting. It will the the BWOP for me to get through to the start of my PR.noc4012 said:My guess is that they are returning it by mail due to an incomplete application. navarth, not sure what you mean? They only ask for your surname on the ECAS Client Application Status page. I also tried entering first name only in the surname name field but still nothing comes up.navarth said:@ sues murph
Try once by giving your name in different combination in ecas web page.
I saw one of the Feb applicants able to see the status with his full first name.

I had sent my application on 26th March. It was received by CIC by mail on 27th. Today I checked my ECAS. It just mentions that "We received your application for permanent residence on March 28, 2013."
I have not received my AOR till now. I was just curious to know as I should get it by this week. Any comments??? Thanks
