Hello March 2013 Applicants...have you all landed in Canada??? is there anyone here who can give me advice or share me on what I can do...my medicals have expired since Dec. 2013...right before it expired I already emailed CEM...a couple of times...but it's just an automated response...Husband contacted MP and says no red flags on our application...we just have to wait....My husband ordered the GCMS, expecting it last Fe. 13, 2014 but nothing came in...the last time I checked E-CAS it says application received/medicals received...when I try to check on it again...nothing is showing up...anyone here who can tell me of whats going on with my application???

If you are near the end of the process cic will usually extend the medical automatically, so I doubt if you will get a request to have them redone. Regarding your ECAS information, it's the same as most have until after they finalize everything, so everything seems fairly normal.

That's awesome Canuckluvus! It takes time but eventually we do get there! :) But you must still wait a month for healthcare coverage, right?

no she has been getting health care coverage based on her visitor records, having sponsorship approval and PR application in process etc since last Oct. We updated her file when we got her COPR. This is in BC.

Oh, I was thinking from landing date, however it goes by date of PR visa... British Columbia, I want to visit there! Must be beautiful, want to see Vancouver.

getting covered by Cdn medical seems to vary from province to province. In BCitseems that some people can get it after sponsorship approval is completed and while PR application is processed if you have a visitor record.

I think this is my first posting on this thread, but I just wanted to leave my timeline here as well.

Today I got the DM on my Ecas and shortly thereafter I received the CoPR, issued on February 24. It's been over 4 months since the PPR... and I have never seen the "In Process" on my Ecas. But anyway, finally the day has come.

Now we are planning to do the "landing" as I'm already in Canada.

Hope all of you who are waiting the PPR, DM or CoPR get a good news soon!!

That is awesome Chiqsherbet! For some reason I had you on spreadsheet as having rec'd CoPR in November, don't know what happened there...but I fixed it.

I finally finalized a few bits of unfinished business in the states and got to go home today!!! It feels incredible! Got my SIN number and exported/imported my vehicle today as well. Whew! I'm tired! But it feels great!

My wife applied to sponsor me,our application dated 28th March 2013,we got a reply AOR from VO in Kiev that our file was received 6th of July and that the average processing time is 9 months. We later got another mail in December 30th to re-fill some information about me since 18 years and where I live up to date. After submitting the form and PCC,my E-cas changed to IN-PROCESS dated 30th Dec,2013.
My wife was so worried that the process is getting late due to the fact that she is pregnant and we already submitted a medical report that she is pregnant.Recently,I wrote them after several messages that my wife has been writing without reply,in my mail to them I attached some other evidences that were not included initially in the application but happened after the submission of our application like the photos of our honey moon, photos we took in August when she visited, the ticket of her last visit, the hotel receipts of our honey moon, money transfer from both sides, another letter from the doctor, letters of attestation from friends and family and lots more.
I have been pondering over this situation because my wife will put to bed very soon! I do know what to do and hope what I did wont affect us (sending documents without request)? Can I apply for visiting visa and what is the possibility because she wants me to be with her during delivery??I need your advice please!!!!!!!!!

Hello friend...

The fact that your wife is pregnant does not affect their attitude towards your case. Sorry to be so blunt about it!
You may as well apply for a visitors visa but if they see that your ties to Canada are strong such as the baby coming, they may as well refuse the visa...I know that this is so inhumane and believe me I am the first to say to you that this is so cruel.
But you can always try as it wont affect your immigrant application.
I am pretty sure though that your visa is about to come your way and who knows maybe you get lucky any day!
I wish you a speedy process so you may be by your wife's side when she gives you the baby!
I too became a daddy in October last year!

Thank you so much.

My little family is doing great. Our baby is now a beautiful 5 month little lady! We hope that Vienna will soon dispatch my class so we can start our lives in Calgary.

All the best for you and your wife!
