Our ECAS changed from "application received" to "in process" today, although it says they began processing it December 17th. I don't want to get too excited...thought we'd have COPR a month ago...this step might take another couple of months

Don't despair my dear. I saw that this year Ottawa has been processing apps in a jiffy. Vienna our VO, is not moving at all,

Thank you Tom, yes I think Ottawa has been moving a little faster than Vienna, the last few months everything slowed way down in Ottawa. I hope they start moving in Vienna too. Merry Christmas to you too. Remembering Jesus and why He had to come to us, to die for us. Happy New Year.

Your medical has expired. Did they give you an extension or ask to have the medical exam done again?

We haven't heard anything yet...hubby saw ECAS change yesterday (checks every day) that's the ONLY thing we've learned since ppr ... I check email just in case they ask for something else, so far, nothing

I wonder if they monitor medical expiration dates and service our applications accordingly . At this point if you didn't receive an email requesting another medical, it seems fairly certain that they have extended yours because you are so close to the end of the process.
