THANKS SIS HOPE YOU GET YOURS TOO SOON...

just checked my E-CAS today,it says started processing oct.7,2013 and same day DECISSION MADE....THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING....hubby expected to arrive oct 30 or nov.6,2013...so happy..the long wait will be over til he arrives...THANKS EVERYONE

We checked CIC website today and saw my wife's status updated to Decision Made and processed on October 15th! Does this mean COPR was mailed out that day? On Sept 25th we got a email requesting the passport copy (she is US citizen) and we scanned it back same day. So maybe she will get that form and land real soon. We r just over the moon!! :D :D

8) I've heard that they have to print the visa and that there sometimes is a wait in the qeue (?) maybe a week or two (?) I'd be over the moon too! congratulations...I'll update the spreadsheet when I get home later. :)

Canuckluvus I thought there was a DM slot on the spreadsheet, but apparently not! Guess we have to wait until Visa Received...which won't be long now :)

Just checked CIC for my wife's status...as of now it's changed to Decision Made :) It also says "We started processing your application on October 16, 2013"...but so far my wife hasn't received an email yet....guess we wait and see :O I'm guessing an interview wasn't required at this time?

we didn't get an email re: DM. We got one nearly month ago for passport request. I don't think anyone gets email re DM. You prob get a letter in mail.

what is your timeline DuberBlue?

Hi Akalak,

I'm on the March 2013 outland spreadsheet...basically, I sent mine and my wife's package in March 4, 2013, I got the SA approximately one month later, and on September 16 my wife got her passport request (plus RCMP check request) which we sent back a week later. Now we're just keeping an eye on the mailbox...:)

Since they seem to have not requested an interview, would it be safe to assume that it's probably not an outright rejection? The health and police checks all came up clean and we provided ample photos and other evidence of our 6-year courtship prior to getting married in 2011.

Just curious why would they request an RCMP check? My understanding was that RCMP will only do checks on Cdn citizens or PRs?

I'm guessing it's because they determined that my wife's been staying with me for some time in Canada as a visitor already (probably either from extended Visitor Records, or maybe I outright stated it somewhere in the application forms). Fortunately it wasn't a huge deal...we got digital fingerprints done at an agency here in Toronto, and got the (clean) result back from the RCMP in the mail barely a week later.

Congratulations DuberBlue! :)
