I don't see the reason for you being paranoid my friend! From your timeline it seems that you have been already contacted by the embassy as you already have submitted your Passport. and you have been informed of the interview waived!
That your e-Cas is showing nothing it doesn't mean anything because simply someone from CIC failed to update it with your info.

Thanks TOM/messenger...they did contact our Immigration consultant thru email since she is based in Canada...it's just that ever since I got a copy of that EMAIL...I started checking online if they received our passports and appendix A... and it so happen that I AM NOT GETTING ANYTHING FROM ECAS...so thats what bothers me...

My friend normally Passport request is the last stage so I wouldn't worry about having e-Cas updated as long as you have receipt for it arriving in CEM

My wife and I received our e-mails for her PPR on 24th Oct and sent it in on 26th with Appendix A as requested....so my question is once CEM receives her passport and Appendix A they will acknowledge they received it?

Sitting here waiting for her Visa! I hope she receives it before I travel to Philippines in early Jan....coming home early March...Hope she's traveling with me!

Hi there,

I wish I could confirm this for you my friend but it totally depends on each VO. I belong to Vienna and my VO is notorious for not informing anyone on anything. I heard that CEM does usually notify people when receiving requested additional documents. You may check the Philipino spread sheet to check out the times for getting COPR after PPR..
