Hi Africalady,
To be honest, I don't know how big was your proof.....??Anyway i don't see any red flags with what you`ve written...... the age differences, the kids etc. Meeting online is a normal thing, i met my husband online as well! Though in our scenario, we both never got married before or have any kids and of course, i didn't give any explanations on my application, i only gave proof to speak for themselves. All you need to remember is what you wrote on your application, they might ask you the same question for clarifications with what you wrote and of course, you have to go with extra proof so they can see that the relationship keeps going on and its genuine. Am sure you know your husband very well so if they ask anything about him, his work, finances, his family his child, you know what to say about all of this and keep in mind that you only answer what you have been asked so you wont leave rooms for doubts.
I hope my little info will enlighten you on where to begin for your interview preparation. I wish you all the best and i know you`ll do just fine!
Hello Asephil,
Thanks so much for your good words, i really feel abit relieved because when i joined this site i have been reading alot about the red flags so i got abit worried. We submitted enough proof for documents and am already gathering more documents to take on the date of my interview. We discussed all this with my husband and we are very fine with what we are/have, for us age is just a number and the children we have we are ready to bring them up together as ours. we even plan to have more two babies soon.
Both our relatives are very supportive and we have their blessings.
Otherwise, let me calm down so that by interview i will be confident enough to defend my marriage. Hope for the best results come October.
Thank you once again, God bless you.
Cheers/
Asephil
