I checked E-CAS and noted:

Sponsorship application status: DECISION MADE. (The link says they sent the letter last April 19, but no email/snail mail received by my sponsor as of yet. So we're still waiting for their snail mail, although i have no idea why they just didnt use email... I mean, they did contact us through email for AOR. It would've been much faster (and less nerve racking that way!)).

PR APPLICATION STATUS: Application Received (does this mean that they received it in the applicants home country canadian embassy?)

Yes

And dont worry they will update and u will get email soon... Ur file is transfered to ur home country...

if u didnt get it by email, ull receive it by snail mail. My ECAS changed to Decision Made on April 12. But it says there that they sent me a letter on April 10 about the decision they made. The letter reached me on April 17. So probably ull get it anytime this week. Congrats for the SA.

They just updated my wife's PR application from rec'd to Medical Check done. What will be the next things on the list? or How many more process need to be done until approval? LOL, I can't stand the wait any longer

I have the same status on ecas (medical results received). It is weird cause I thought this would be the last thing they did after the background checks etc. Does it mean that our package is already in the VO?

Anyways, it is good to know that something is happening to our case Have a great day!

Ours took 25 days, I see some whose took 23 days since application received. You should have yours in 3-5 days

Dnt be sad dear as they take 28 days, so keep ur eye on 28th day dont expect it before that and if u get it before that u wil be surprised and happy too... Tip to overcome the sadness and loneliness... Sry if u dnt like...

thanks and yes now the real wait begins the only think that give me hopes its that i know atleast 6 people who got approved in cuba in 4 months so its not that bad even thoe its different from everyone
