Yea, we waited for 4 months before our MC got released i know it's such a long wait but we made sure we have it before applying just to make sure. I don't think they will return you package, I heard people got it requested during the PPR(passport request), so pwede sabay sabay na nila hingin sayo yung mga kulang mo na docs.

Yung sa name, it doesn't really matter if you use your maiden name. Mas ok sana kung ginawa mo nalang consistent like using your maiden name all through out. Anyway, hopefully it will all work out fine

I waited a couple days for my NSO certified MC to be released and I got married on the 16th of December 2012. I'm a March applicant as well.

Yay!!

I got one question though....

I tried using the UCI on the email they sent me to check my status. But i still get this message:
We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times
At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

it has been 26 days when CPC-M received our application..my husband haven't get any AOR yet, kinda worried about our application too
hope we hear something soon..(hopefully) let's stay positive anyways..

You'll hear from them soon. I sent our application on March 05, 2013. I didn't hear from them 'till the 19th of March saying that they received our application kit on the 8th of March. I then waited a couple more weeks 'till I heard from them again, saying I was approved as a sponsor and that my wife's permanent resident app kit was forwarded to Manila Visa Office for processing. Apparently, this process takes even longer, we just all have to be patient and positive. God bless and Good luck with your application.

You have to wait a couple of days before you can use the UCI to check your e-CAS. Same thing happened to me and it got me all frustrated(over nothing).

ahhhhhhhhhhh me too i cant check the status online i received the AOR TODAY AS WELL probable when they update they site tomorrow or something we gonna be able to see the status

yeah i guess thank you when they tell you they received your application packpage means that they are actually working on it or is it still sitiing on a table?
and when to expect the SA letter? and they send it by email too?

lol im really scared i get denied i dont even know why i sent everything they ask for im not on welfare and i have 2 jobs im currently on maternity leave on one of the jobs but still im scared lol it may be my pregnant hormones!!!

It's probably still sitting there waiting to be processed. You can refer to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

they process one week's worth of application every week. Apparently, they're still working on applications received on March 13, 2013. They do updates every Wednesday. Tomorrow, they'll start processing applications received on March 20 - 26. You probably still have a week of waiting. And don't worry, as long as you're not on welfare, you should be fine.

You will see that the average waiting from the first to the last is about 20-30 days.

When they send you AOR it means that they are already processing your application. My AOR was sent on March 22 and my SA 5 days later March 27

Do not over stress your selves (I know I did too) as this is a very interesting period. The real worry comes after when your apps go to the VO.

Congrats!! I'm sorry if I feel worried for my application though. I don't know what's happened with it. I guess my hopes are lifted way too high I feel just so worried.

This only means they're past the March. 18 applications. Oh boy
