Hi All,

On the letter received from OTTPilot it is mentioned to send 2 passport size photo (which is 50 * 70) but on link it is (35 * 45).

What size photos should we send to Detroit? Do we need photos during landing?

There are different sized passport photo's. If Ottawa did not not give you a specific size the correct size photo to send is 35*45 as specified in the link. That is the one I sent.

i thought bank statement is not one of the requirements for CEC applicants?

I brought it with me just in case they asked for it which they did not.

Hello Everyone,

great to see who many of you have already received their PR status.

Unfortunately we are in a more difficult position and I have to find a solution ASAP.

We have received our medical request on Sept. 24th. We have done our medicals except for the chest x-ray for my wife.
She is in week 22 pregnant and we were not able to do the x-ray.
Her due date is on April 10th. Unfortunately our work visas will expire on May 19th. By that time we have completed our 5 years of our work visa.
I came to Canada in 2008 with my wife on a intra-company transfer from Germany.

After our baby's birth in April 2013 my wife will go immediately to complete her medicals. However we don't think that within the few weeks between the x-ray and the expiry date of our work visas we will have received the PR status.

If we do not find a solution we would have to leave Canada by May 19th for few month until the process has been completed. That would be the worst case.

We have to find a way to extend our stay in Canada. By the time we have to leave, we will have 2 canadian kids (one in pre-school), I have my job here, that I don't want to leave either. Is this maybe a help that they can not send two canadian citizen out of the country?

Is there any way to extent our work visas one more time or does it make sense to send a letter to CIC asking to stay until the process is completed?

Maybe I can apply for a new work permit (not as an intra-company transfer) rather with a LMO??
It looks like that the process time for a general work visa may fit into the time until may 2013.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Just saw my file and it says "decision made." Is this usually what it's updated to once they issue the visa? I sent in my passport and info on Nov. 19, so I'm assuming that's what it is....

Yes diana83, you are right. it means that they issued ur visa 2 days ago. Same thing with me. My visa got issued Oct. 31 but my ecas status changed to decision made on Nov. 2. Congratulations in advance diana83, im happy for u.

Hi Friends,

I have a question. I applied under CEC category on March 28th 2012 along with my wife (as dependent) and Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa requested for PCC for my wife AND "Request for passport photos" for both of us. I have submitted both photos and PCC. I am just curious as to why they asked for passport photos when I already included them along with my Original application. Also, does this means that I have cleared the initial screening.

Friends, please help.

These days issuing visa is taking more than two weeks. This is what I've heard from others. don't worry.

Why don't you track it in USPS web page too! sometimes USPS tracking shows something while the package is still in US.
(you know that Xpresspost is for Canadapost and USpost both, right?)
