I just got my medical request today!!!

Here are my timelines:
Application received - March 15, 2012
File no. received - June 19, 2012
Medical request - Sept. 5, 2012

So, what does it mean by this? Am i 100% sure i will get approved or they're might be a chance to get refused? Once i passed the medical, Is everything going to be fine? How about the eligibility review? Did i pass it?

That means you have to prove that you don't have any health problems. It's not 100% sure that you will get approved, this is just one of the stages that everyone has to go through. Until you get the passport stamping you are still in the race but you can be out anytime if you don't meet their criteria. Be optimistic mate and good luck, everything should go fine.

Onap, i think just leave it blank and when u get to have your medical, they will fill it. When i called to booked for my medical, they asked me to bring a name of a contact person, address and a telephone no. and it has to be a canadian citizen or permanent resident. Probably that is for that space. maybe.. By the way i will be having my medical this coming thursday.

hi I just found this forum. you guys have a wealth of knowledge here.
I applied on march 9 but I am asked for RCMP police certificate within the next 60 days. Can someone please tell me what is the fastest way to get this done and what is the process?
I am aware that there is an electronic option but not sure how this works or if I can submit the electronic fingerprints to CPO-ottawa ? Do I need to wait for RCMP to send me the results and then I forward it to OTTAWA? or does the RCMP directly send it to the case processing office.

Hi March 9, It depends on which country you want your police certificate. In some cases the fastest way is to travel there.

Do at Commissionaires by Electronic fingerprint submission. They send your fingerprints right away to RCMP.
Once RCMP recieves yours, it takes 72 hours for RCMP to send the 'certified RCMP criminal clearance' to immigration center.
You don't get result. RCMP takes care of it

Hi March 9,

Thats Awesome News! Congrads !

Thanks!
