Hi scottandlisag, just a quick question, how come your timeline is so fast?! you applied march and right now ur meds done already?!scottandlisag said:Best of luck to everyone!!
Patiently waiting...
I'm not sure, we originally were directed to apply inland but it was redirected to outland I'm guessing because of his visitor permit. We didn't have to include the medical with the inland application, so maybe because it's now an outland app (which you include the medical with) they sent a letter asking for it.toink said:Hi scottandlisag, just a quick question, how come your timeline is so fast?! you applied march and right now ur meds done already?!
Congratulations GSIn! I think I should probably give them a call too. What's the number you called at? Thanks,GSIn said:Hi Guys
Atlast got the file number.
But one thing, if you didn't get you file number even after 3.5 months of applying just ring the call centre and ask them to place an enquiry, that should help you. This is from my personal experience.
Cheers.

I do not think you can complete medicals with out medical request from CIC.Mrch29 said:Hi,
We had applied for PR in the month of February and now waiting for medicals. My spouse is going back to India as her visa is going to expire in Aug. So, is it possible for her to complete her medicals in advance before receiving medical request from CIC? Does anyone has an idea on this?
Thank you.
We made the appointment and the doctor's office had the form. CIC never sent it with the medical request. I'd call around to try and get an appointment before she leaves. We managed to get an appointment within a couple daysMrch29 said:Hi,

I'm not insisting anyone to call CIC and I don't care, just shared my personal experience.minta7 said:Aburana,
Just want to add something here. Don't contact before 30 weeks if you didn't get your AOR/File #. They will send you a standard reply that "we take around 30 weeks to process this file and stuff". I've got mine after 5.5 months. So its better to wait patiently. People who have applied just 4 days after me have already got PPR long time back and I'm still waiting for mine.
