Lol @ purple! We were asked to pay the rprf fee at the end of march and my notes said he needs an arc but we haven't been asked for the arc yet so just waiting patientlysimb said:Thanks Chickie72

any update from your VO ?
I want purple in this spreadsheet too... ;D
my hubby was previously here in Canada on a work program and applied for Refugee status after his daughter was shot and killed by gang members. He was denied refugee and sent home after his PRRA was denied. He complied with everything, went home when he was supposed, we paid his ticket so I am not sure why they are asking but apparently anyone who has been on refugee and gets denied needs an ARC to return to Canada. It basically is that we have to pay another $400 and submit a letter stating why he feels they should let him come back to Canada, ie: his wife, if he has a job, and to make sure that the reason he was sent home in the first place, won't happen again. (which it won't because he wasn't sent home for criminal reasons or anything) LOL if it is a government thing, then I think it is just that they want another $400 from us LOLsimb said:I may sound little stupid asking this question at this stage. but still
what is ARC ?
I think I know the abbreviation .. its Authorization to Return to Canada...(I guess : )
But what is it ? Why is it needed ? why CIC asks this ?
Thanks for explaining it.. with your situationchickie72 said:my hubby was previously here in Canada on a work program and applied for Refugee status after his daughter was shot and killed by gang members.
