DECISION MADE!!!!

Exactly 24 hours after they added the "home address" on ecas.

Finally, finally this is coming to an end!
Did you get a passport request at all?

Must have, otherwise they wouldn't have updated the home address.

Hello Everyone & Happy New Year.

My file is still in process in Ottawa and my wife is still living in Ohio. Just found out that my wife is pregnant. We are very happy and excited, but my question is: Should I email Ottawa letting them know?

I would appreciate if anyone has any good advice.

Thanks!

if you would let them know.. it doesnt matter because according to them the baby should be born.. but incase you get an interview then you can surely tell them... rest upto u ..you want to tell them or not

Are you a Canadian citizen, born in Canada or naturalized here? If so, it won't matter as your baby will be a Canadian citizen, even if born in the US. But you do not need to tell CIC until the baby is born - at which point the baby is either a Canadian Citizen (you need to gather paperwork) or the baby should be added to the pending application.

Good luck! And congratulations on your future child.
