hey marchies,
so we can say that Vienna,NewDelhi and Manila VO's are fast, while the rest are slow...summer vacations.
Too early to contact Paris I guess, to inquire about AOR.

That would be my good friend Mr. Billy Joel. Saw him a few years ago in Calgary. What a great showman and musician.

Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know there is an accredited company in Toronto called Worldwide forensic services (info @ wwfs.ca) that you can email, they send you the Canadian fingerprint forms and for a fee of CDN 150 convert the fingerprints to elecronic, then send them to RCMP, who process them in about 72 hours. If you can afford it, it definitely saves a lot of hassel, and more importantly, time!

Hopefully this is of some help!

Thank you so much for the information we ended up finding a company commissionaires that we are using it was $200 with them and because he has a criminal record the 72 hours wont apply to him but this company is advising it should take about 3 weeks! But always good to have a backup! thanks!

Hey guys!
Hope y'all are doin well. I've been in canada for a month now visiting my partner. I'm planning on waiting out my application here, I've changed my home and mailing address to my partners, now my question is will it affect or delay the processing time of my application? I'm on the second stage of my application. Please if anyone can shed any light on this I would really appreciate it. Thanks and hope everyone in canada have a safe and great long weekend.

You need to advise CIC of the address change yes. As they may mail you your COPR to your first address.

Hi, would like to ask if how many of march batch who already got PPR. It seems that it took so long for late march applicants. :( My files transferred last June 28 basis ECAS.

Hi parker, yes i changed the address through the cic website. Will it delay the processing time though?

I am newly signed up here and as the forum searches have been useful in answering a lot of questions, I thought I'd share my timeline for the Paris VO as I don't see many people with that VO on here - unless I've missed a specific Paris VO thread. As the principal applicant I am in Switzerland, my wife (sponsor) is in Canada.

Category: FAM
VO: Paris, France
Application received in Mississauga with meds included: March 26, 2012
Sponsor approved: June 27, 2012
File Transferred to VO: July 27, 2012

I checked eCAS right after the sponsorship approval and right after the file was transferred to the VO in Paris. Expecting this thing to take another few months I didn't give it much thought. Until that is I went to look up the dates to post on here.

It's August 5th and my "Permanent Residency Application Status" went from "In-Process" 10 days ago to "Decision Made". Naturally I have to wait for written confirmation of the decision, but am worrying that it might have been a quick turn around. Any Swiss and/or Paris applicants have any feedback?

Cheers!

p.s. does anyone know how to post the timeline in the sidebar profile box that shows up in the posts? I've looked but can't seem to figure it out. ty.

Congratulations. So exciting. To be able to fill in your time line on the left you need to do 10 posts then go into your profile and you will see it there.
