It doesn't matter what state he is from. LA is issuing the visas for Americans.

That was before the Buffalo closure. I only saw Seattle, not Detroit.

It's possible! I'm not entirely sure how it's going but maybe LA is the one who issues the VISA for people who don't require interviews? Who knows! I'm just hoping LA tells someone SOMETHING soon!

No change yet, and still no sign of AOR from the local visa office (Paris).
File was transferred July 3rd.
Website for Paris says 8 months timeline.

cdn1 you may or may not get an aor from your visa office....not all vo's send them and don't forget it won't be the sponsor who gets the aor this time it will be the person you are sponsoring or the applicant.....

Mine was sent to VO on June 27th and still ecas is at "application received" so dont feel bad.. No AOR either.. SUCKS!

i hear ya blondie1216...mine was sent June 20th and I am the same as you....nothing...nada...and you're right it does suck...
