I hope there isn't already a topic for Berlin-March-2012 applicants.

I am Canadian, sponsoring my German wife. Sent the application on March 8th, the post office says it was received on March 15th. Now we wait. And I am totally nervous!

I have no doubt my wife will qualify, but I am nervous about my sponsorship application. As I a have no income, and stay home and take care of our two children. The kids are Canadian citizens, we are just waiting for their proof of citizenship to come from Sydney, NS.

From the past few months I see that Berlin can been pretty fast, I hope we are lucky to get the same fate. If my wife's PR isn't here by the end of August, I will be going alone with the kids, as my son starts school (grade 1) in September and we want him to start at the beginning of the school year with everyone else. It will be very hard if we have to leave my wife behind, on all of us.

Hey. I can sypathize with you about it all. Im Canadian and we are putting in the paperwork as soon as he has his medical done on april 5th. We have a daughter who is Canadian Citizen and a baby on the way. Were living here in the UK (husbands british) and have been here since 2009. We are hoping to be out of here by october/novemberish. Where in Canada are you going to?

Hi!

Putting all the paperwork together was so overwhelming. Trying not to make mistakes etc.

We are moving to Ottawa. We have many friends and family there. Where are you headed?

Well Im from sydney, so nova scotia. It is a bit overwhelming but I think I finally got it all under control and once his medical is done and we send it in atleast we have nothing else to worry about unless they contact us for some reason. So have you heard if you have been approved for sponsor? Cause, Im kinda in the same position as you. I work here in the UK part time as a hairstylist but it is only parttime because I have a child under the age of three to take care of.

It's a bit too early to tell. I assume that at the earliest I will hear something in a few weeks. Mississisauga tends to need a bit of time.

And that is the worst part, sitting around and waiting knowing there is nothing you can do....

Oh well, :) Good luck and let us know how it all goes :)

Thanks!! and same to you!
