WOW....... :o

AMAZING.... :o

I just contacted CIC by phone, after 16 minutes wait the operator took my details and then put me on hold for another 10-12 minutes,

Then with her reply I was amazed and shocked, let me draft her words here,

1) They have received you application on 29th of March,
2) You have met the Ministerial Instructions, every thing is OK,
3) They did not send you any letter/ Correspondence,
4) You have to wait up to 30 weeks to get a reply from CIO,

I asked her about the draft

5) Everything looks OK that means they have received the payment.

She was not sure about BD.

When I heard 30 weeks I was shocked :o :o :o :o 33333300000000 :o :o :o :o :o :o weeks

Guys what do you say.

Please feed me with your positive response at least I will make my self comfortable with your PER's rather than original CIO PER.

??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Wicky

My opinion is that they usually tell up to 30 weeks just to avoid another phone call in a short time. I would not be worried, everything is fine as she said, so an answer should be given soon.
My best wishes

May be they said 30Days. 30 WEEKS!!!! Mmm thats more that 7months man....gotta be a mistake.
Did they cash your DD?

She calculated 30 weeks time for me and also told me the exact date when 30 weeks are over, she told me you have to wait till 26th of October. I know it cannot be 30 weeks. But I am sure there is something on their side that they do not want to share with the applicant.
Their laziness or errors and mistakes whatever. 30 weeks at CIO stage is 7.5 months, then how the Visa Office is gonna process the application in 3.5 weeks because 7.5+3.5 is 11 months which is the minimum time required to process London Visa Office which is now changed to 16 months.

I hope I will get PER in next two days.

I agree it can't be 30 weeks......it's scary

But once every thing is OK its not scary,

As long you know they are not going to return your application as incomplete or ineligible.

It seems like status changing to RBVO for march.
Might be mine is the last for getting that, as my application received CIO Mar 31st.
I got my PER on 2nd May.waiting for the next update.

Guys in my opinion it realy cant be 30 weeks for the first AOR or PER but may be she meant to say 30 weeks for the whole process, I mean after the visa office rcvd ur file. As the second eligibility reveiw does take a very long time. They check Educational background, Security checks, criminality, and history blah blah and then if it is eligible they request medical. and ofcoarse there is a point that she might be thinking that all procedure of CIO and VO is available on net 1st AOR, 2nd AOR, RBVO, and much more then she wont tell u on phone right may be short of time and lots of customers. She just made it clear for the whole process. So guys dnt worry and pray. I will also pray for u all. Thing will be better.

Regards.

Fazal.

30 Weeks is too much, I agree with Deby that they say a random time just to avoid another enquiry. I hope March applicants will got their PER soon and I am still waiting for RBVO, hope that will also happen soon. BTW, today is 20th day since I received my PER.

Cheers,

Hello casayed!

how are you? And you spicysank? Where have you been all this time? :P

Well, no news so far, but I'm not worried yet. I will start to get a bit upset if I will be one of the unlucky ones who got rvbo after more than 2 months. But there is no point comparing to others because there is nothing we can do to change things. I already perceive myself very very lucky to be an after Jan '11 applicant, otherwise I would have to wait another 2 months only for my per.....
So I suggest to give it a couple of more weeks before starting worrying about time-frames.
It's all going to be fine for all of us and if we'll have to wait a few more months to get a positive outcome then so be it.
