Rest assured....making a copy of your application is a recommendation by CIC for your own reference. Nowhere in this forum have I read that such documents were asked for upon landing. Of course you willl need your educational/professional certificates for job search or uni admission if you are desiring to further ur edu in Canada.

Thanx for ur reply. We both have our degrees only and not the transcripts but yeah we can apply for duplicate Transcripts from our Universities. But only my wife will need as she wana continue her studies there in Canada.

I just contacted CIC by phone, after 16 minutes wait the operator took my details and then put me on hold for another 10-12 minutes,

Then with her reply I was amazed and shocked, let me draft her words here,

1) They have received you application on 29th of March,
2) You have met the Ministerial Instructions, every thing is OK,
3) They did not send you any letter/ Correspondence,
4) You have to wait up to 30 weeks to get a reply from CIO,

I asked her about the draft

5) Everything looks OK that means they have received the payment.

She was not sure about BD.

When I heard 30 weeks I was shocked 33333300000000 weeks

Guys what do you say.

Please feed me with your positive response at least I will make my self comfortable with your PER's rather than original CIO PER.

I think the same, and in my opinion my BD encashment was late and it was done and they just put my application on the side and then after the payment cleared they forgot it.

Or if the BD payment is not yet clear they are waiting for the payment to be cleared and then blaa..blaaa...bla...

Hey samar and wicky , even i got the same reply wen i call to the number which u have given me , they told me that it takes 30 weeks time for the next stage, even im scocked by hearing that , hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm/ god !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
