Dear App,
good luck with your aplication. Could you pls help me with a few queries. I was planning to apply under FSW earlier but abandoned it after Jun 26 changes, as there were lot of confusion on the new chnages. I hope now things are settled and wanted to consider applying again.

Someone kindly help me. Thanks.
1) Do we still need to send the appln to CIO with all copies ?
You need to send appln and all supporting visa office documents to CIO.
2)Is system managers still in the skilled list
Refer for present available skilled worker NOC's: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list
This will get updated next june/july.
3)I've taken my ielts in august 2010 and got a valid score. How long its valid?
IELTS valid for 2 years presently. Two years from the test date you have taken.
Need to include score report along with application and documents.
4) Do I need to send PCC with intial appln for CIO.(Its a pain I wanted to avoid in the intial stage as I need it form 6 countries where I've stayed)
Yes it's strongly recommended in the skilled worker instructions. However, you may go with out PCC while applying and should be able to produce when they request (if your application gets accepted and starts processing)
5)Is the '1000 applicaions per category for a year' done away with ?
There is still a 1000 CAP on each available skilled worker NOC.

Good luck.

I got my 1st AOR as Application received and will be sent to a visa office for further processing.
Good luck to all of March Applicants.

I can understand why you want to have a thread devoted to those who put in their applications in March, but many of the questions being raised have been answered in the Applications in all NOCs after 26/6 thread. The link below shows you a terrific spread sheet that lets you determine how long it takes most people to progress from one stage to the next. You will see that those who applied in the past few months are getting their PER nearly 3 months faster than those who applied in the summer. Good luck to all in their quest.

Hi all,

I'm also a March 2011 applicant. They received mine on the 28th of March. I'm under noc.0631 so if they process my application before the cap is reached then I hope I will have more updates in this thread.
If not then I will just have to wait for July's 2011 noc list with fingers crossed. :)

Tnx App for your update. I hope there will be more updates for the march 2011 applicants.

How to check the application received date? Is it the date when courier delivered? DHL informed me that they have delivered my courier two days back. Will I hear something from CIO, Sydney?

Hi March Applicants,

Has anyone received any reply/notification/correspondence or anything that they have received your application or whatever.
My application was delivered on 29th of March by CIC.
And you all know what Situation I am suffering from.
I will and I request all of you to keep this thread alive.

Thanks in advance

Wicky,

I saw that CIO has charged my credit card for 1100$ so that makes me feel good that atleast my application process is started.

Check with your bank whether your account is charged or not?

Next step is to receive PER (Positive Eligibility Review). You will get PER when CIO officer finds that your all documents are fine and you are getting 67 or more points.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
-s

Hi Wicky,
Presently, it takes nearly one month to get reply from CIO.
Mean while you can make sure that your check/credit card is charged indicating review has started.
Hope you get a reply by April 29th.
Good luck
