1) Do we still need to send the appln to CIO with all copies ?Ynet said:Dear App,
good luck with your aplication. Could you pls help me with a few queries. I was planning to apply under FSW earlier but abandoned it after Jun 26 changes, as there were lot of confusion on the new chnages. I hope now things are settled and wanted to consider applying again.
Someone kindly help me. Thanks.
You need to send appln and all supporting visa office documents to CIO.
2)Is system managers still in the skilled list
Refer for present available skilled worker NOC's: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list
This will get updated next june/july.
3)I've taken my ielts in august 2010 and got a valid score. How long its valid?
IELTS valid for 2 years presently. Two years from the test date you have taken.
Need to include score report along with application and documents.
4) Do I need to send PCC with intial appln for CIO.(Its a pain I wanted to avoid in the intial stage as I need it form 6 countries where I've stayed)
Yes it's strongly recommended in the skilled worker instructions. However, you may go with out PCC while applying and should be able to produce when they request (if your application gets accepted and starts processing)
5)Is the '1000 applicaions per category for a year' done away with ?
There is still a 1000 CAP on each available skilled worker NOC.
Good luck.
