any movement around Singapore VO....I am at RBVO since June 2011.
Also I was wondering if the new process can exceed 1 year to get visa? Hope not!

Dear Casayed
apart from same VO, we share very similar applications time line
May be our progress may set some pointers for each other!

regards
hi rana, i am still rbvo. Whts ur ecas? From which city u from? Dr bhatia

@Casayad
even if you send the doc. without VO asking for them, the worst will be they will be simply returned wothout any harm. There is no reason that such move of yours would delay or reject your application and the result will be either nothing happened or it'd push your case...good luck!

@Dr. Bhaitia
My ecase status has been RBVO since June 2011, same as yours.
I applied at Singapore VO from Bangkok..How about you?

regards

hi seniors
i need help in an urgent matter....
i need my original DMC of masters degree which i submitted along with my application in the university sealed envelop at the time of submission of my documents to CIO, now as i m planning to get further do my masters from UK before landing to Canada, i m in badly need of my original DMC from the embassy. I can get the duplicate from my university but the certificate number will be replaced with the new one and the old one will not be valid ..... Now if the canadian high commission has yet not verified my degrees and if i acquire the duplicate degree then there may be an error with the verification as the certificate number of the old degree will be discarded.

What should i do now?
should i write the embassy to return my original DMC?
should i re-issue the degree and process my student visa and then intimate the Canadian embassy that i re-issued the DMC and send it to the Emabassy afterwards?
(wat if in the meanwhile verification occurs if not yet made?)

@nokiadesire
Thanks for new year wishes.

I am pressing any panick button but ND VO is much faster than rest of VO especially in new application process as I've seen.
I hope you get good news soon.

best wishes

@Dr Bhatia,

My reply is a fine example of stupid mistake people emit...I forgot to add 'NOT' in my text..

In my eaarlier reply, I wanted to say that "I am NOT pressing any panick button" but wrote 'I am pressing panick button' instead.
Hope you got my righteous intention without failing this time..

&Casayad
Other than our current location, our status is surprisingly matching...let's keep each other updated.
Earlier I used to be with Dr. Hasib but he got far ahead as my application reached when the CAP was full...I tried 2nd time and got you with almost same timeline.

good luck to all~

@casayed
What a great similarty our case has....!!
I also sent an e-mail to VO in August 2011 (same month as you did) to which VO gave following reply:

*****************************************************************************
Dear -----
Your application is currently under review.

Please note that we are NOT able to acknowledge receipt and respond to requests for information on the routine progress of your application unless your application is not proceeding normally.

We will not respond to similar future requests.

Seems our applications is so far proceeding normally!
cheers...
