Maple card renewal timeline

Hi, anyone who submitted their applications recently, please share the progress on your applications. I sent mine by Xpressmail on Oct. 31, 2012, CIC received it on Nov. 02, 2012. I couldn't find the update online until Jan. 16, 2013. I checked CIC website today, my status is still "in process". It was updated on Feb. 06, 2013, and showed 89 calender days of process time. Since mine application has been received for 97 days, I called CIC and the agent told me that it seems every document is OK, and they are doing final reviews of my passport copies (I had the copies done by a certified translator and notarized). Once that's finished, they will either mail me the card or invite me to pick up.

Did anybody who submitted applications in early Nov. and received they cards or at least approval? It seems that my case is taking longer than normal.

My wife resubmitted her application end of November and received her renewed PR card just last week.

What do you mean re-submit? Did she submit the application earlier and was requested to re-submit for some reasons?

I submitted mine on 13 sep. Still in process. My application recieved local office on 31 jan. No updates yet.

What do you mean your application received in local office Jan. 31? They refer your application to the local office for procession? That's kinda strange.

Yes, she was requested to re-submitted the application because of incorrect photo specification.

Did you contact CIC? Why does it take so long.

I forgot to come back and update my renewal status. After almost 4 months of processing, my renewal applicaiton got approved when I checked online on March 01, and about a week later it shows complete and then I received my card in mail the following week. I guess CIC checked my entry/exit with CBSA because when I called for updates, both time the agents said they were verifying some documents. It seems 10 year US visa and trips to US always trigger some sorts of scrutinization. Hope the info helps everyone here.
