Thanks a lot . I would like to know that in case where it is mentioned that "ADDITIONAL SUPPORTING DOCUMENT MAY INCLUDE", is it important to provide these supporting documents, if the basic document is fulfilling all the requirement.

I am first time applying for FSW. I am qualifying for 0911 as having 10 years of experience with designation as "Production Manager".
I expect to complete my ECA and IELTS by end of July,2014 and planning to submit the application by end of August,2014.

1) Can anybody please tell me whether I am late and what are the chances of cap getting full by that time?
2) My age is 37 and I am just meeting 67 points on border. Are my chances low?
3) What is the criteria of file selection? When two candidates are qualifying for same category,whether points is the only deciding factor?

Please guide me.

Can i apply under NOC 2132 ( Mechanical Engineer ) or NOC 0911 ( Manufacturing Manager ) ?

This largely depends on your job duties please.
Look at the NOC duties for Mec and MAN so as to decide.
I will suggest MANUFACTURING MGR please.

But my issue is my title. my reference letter states my title as ' "Engineer" for manufacturing/production'. Nowhere in my reference letter does it say that my title is manager. (my title was 'engineer'). So the title is NOT matching. But the duties in the lead statement and main duties of NOC 0911 matches 90% with my reference letter.

But when I checked the description of "NOC 2141-Industrial and manufacturing engineers" (which is not in the 50 eligible list), my duties do NOT match this occupation (2141).

So do you think, a ref.letter which mentions "Engineer" will work for NOC 0911?

The title is immaterial.The most important thing is that your reference
letter must cover the lead statement and some of the main duties.
Relax,you are okay.

I have a registered company in my country(Nigeria) to which I am the manager for 3 years before I come to Canada for a one year college program to which I finished may. I am still in Canada presently, but my student visa expire december 2014.
I am currently planning to apply as a manufacturing manager...my questions are.....

1. Can I apply from canada

2. Can I apply despite the company that I had experience with is my own company.

3. Do I need to verify my credentials, since I have already use this same credentials to study for a 1 year program in Canada.

4. What will be my supporting document if I can apply.

5. How much in dollars is proof of settlement fund.

Can I apply despite the company that I had experience with is my own company.-Yes,you can but you will be claiming self employed.You must get reference from your clients,proof of jobs carried out,invoices and receipt payments,bank statement of the company showing evidences of money paid by your clients/customers

3. Do I need to verify my credentials, since I have already use this same credentials to study for a 1 year program in Canada-Yes with one of the
approved org like ICAS,WES or CES.This evaluation is for FSW PROGRAM and quite different from academics purpose

I am a post graduate and have 3 yrs experience as a Production Supervisor in autoparts industry. I have also shown blood relation in canada.

I havnt put in any references in my file. Does this affect my file in any way?
And i havnt heard from the immigration office since sending my file. What time should i wait to get AOR?

actually i have put in all the work experience into my file. Reference letter or work experience is there. I am talking about references from co-workers or supervisors. Some people I know have put these references in their files. That is why i want some clarity on this...
