MANILA VO - MI3 Applicants Medical Results have been recieved and RPRF Encashed

Manila VO has been issuing Visas to MI1 and MI2 applicants lately , it seems. However, there are so many forums that we all post in and due to that my knowledge may / may not be completely updated.

I am specifically asking all the MI3 applicants to Manila VO to come forward and be a part of this thread and share their experiences / anxieties while waiting for their PPR . Unlike Other VOs, Manila VO does not ask for passports at the time of Medicals and PCCs.

Also I am sure there are quite a few people who have already done the Meds, results have been received, PCCs submitted and RPRF en cashed but are still waiting for the Passport Request.

It ,undoubtedly , creates anxiousness and I am sure by sharing our timelines, our gains and our pains, we all can make this time fly by sooner and May LORD grants the prayers of all of us for each other and ourselves in this mission of ours.

Hi!
I submitted my application January 2012 and was received by CIO February 3 2012. Now I am done with my medical (April 20) and just waiting for result and for the clinic to send it to Manila VO. They also requested for the RPRF so i also sent it thru drop box also last Friday (April 20).

I think all i have to do is wait.
I am just interested on how fast the VO here in Manila will process my application. Because I read in some forums that it s taking months or years for them to get their visa. I hope thats not the case here.

about sputum exam

sa Cebu Doc ako nag pa medical last March 19, 2012. Results are normal except x-ray na may kunting hazy na nakita. nagpa sputum exam and culture sensitivity test last week. Negative ang sputum pero sabi ng Doktor kelangan pa daw itreat ang mga pt na may latent TB kasi daw magiging active din daw pag dating ng araw na ma decline ang immune system natin. ayaw ko sana pa treat kasi nga wla namang symptoms tapos hindi naman nakakahawa pero i'm afraid kung mag decision ang Canadian Embassy na magtreat muna bago nila ako i clear sa medical. sinabihan ako ng Doktor na it's up to me daw kong mag wait pa daw ako sa reply ng embassy or mag treat kaagad bago paman sabihin ng embassy na magtreat muna. nalilito na talaga ako no'n kasi nga ayaw kong ma delay ang processing kaya nakapag decission ako na mag pa treat nlng.

hello there!

regarding sa question mo about sa sputum. yes nagtatake na ako ng antibiotics now kasi ni refer nila ako sa mga pulmo dito sa place ko. until 6 mos daw ako mag treat . nahopeless na nga ako. wla rin pala akong kawala kahit negative ang sputum ko pero hindi ko pa alam ang culture ko. Binasihan lang kasi nila ang CXR ko nakakalungkot pero wla na akong magagawa kasi heto na. sabi ng Doctor sa Cebu every 3 months after treatment daw mag pa CXR tapos after 3 months again and a total of 6 months mag pa CXR ulit tsaka final na sputum exam..alam mo napakahirap na talaga ang dami ng mga pagsubok pero tiniis ko nlng kasi i trust him (God).
