Hi Moraine,

We didn't apply for my mom's extension yet. My mom arrived last June this year. I didn't see any date stamped on her passport that she's allowed to stay here in Canada. No stamped date even when she arrived. I'm a little bit worried because the passport is in Manila. Her flight back to the Philippines is next month. I guess we have to call the airline to keep her airline ticket open. I'm not sure how long is she allowed to stay here probably six months. If that's the case she's okay for now until December.

June_bug, it's good to know that your mom has authorized stay until December So technically the no stamp or handwritten date by POE means that the authorized stay is 6 months and you can find this info in CIC website. I am wondering about our parents having no passports, I think they cannot leave Canada now, LOL. What do you think? So you can definitely inform your mom's airline company that she has no passport

Guys i need help!
Nakareceive ako ng letter from immigration that i need to pay the RPRF na 980.00 but i did pay already nung 2008 pa and its 1200.00 pa nga for the fee ... I cant call right now sa cic call centre kasi close na sila for the evening ... To think i kept the copy of mg receipt nung nag bayad ako but i dont know why theyre still asking for the fee ... Is this another fee ? Im confuse ...

I trust you feel better now, Malditaako. I really thought you did pay the RPRF already. May I know the date of your letter? Did they send it to your Canadian address? I just want to see the timeline. So because they asked you to pay the RPRF that means they will grant your parents and siblings their PR visas this really make sense to me...and to us who already paid it, my hunch is that they already issued the PR, not sure if it has been shipped to our Canadian addresses depends on your timeline, though

The letter was dated sept 11, and i just received it last thurs. theyre giving me 30 days to pay .... I thought i did pay lol di pa pla i cant imagine they asked for the payment since May i really thought ung 1200+ kasama na ung landing fee nila ... So i didnt bother to call i just sent the copy of my receipt, ... Kasabay ng pag request nila ng cenomar ng brother ko ung request to pay the resident fee ...sobrang mali ! Sayang ung months na pinag anty namin... I hope sooner dumating na... Btw how did u guys sent the copy of the RPRF receipt ??? Through fax? Mail? Email? Im planning to sent it to both place,here and to manila... . Kasi if i waited for cpc mississauga it will take a month daw before they send it to manila ... And do i need to put my info for the copy of the official receipt? Or the main applicant ?(my dad) ... Pls reply guys thanks ... Im just having brain fart right now ;( ..

LOL, well I think fax is a lot faster and what I learned from other members here, is that CIC responds to fax more often than not. I put my name on that receipt, but that was years ago. I paid processing and landing fees at the same time Send it directly to Manila and to CIC wherever, but do not forget to put your dad's file numbah and include a note ... anythin that helps to make the wait time lesser

Hello guys, I just observed from previous threads na most of you got med request and PPR almost at the same time....is there anyone out there na kapareho ko na only med request lang ang na-receive? My mom completed her medical on Sept 1st and I got a letter last week from CPC-Ottawa to pay RPRF...no PPR yet though...any idea what's going on with our application? Will greatly appreciate any thoughts on this...maraming salamat mga kababayan -

Blue_angel, ganyan talaga ang processing sa CPP-Ottawa. Karamihan sa amin dito ay sa CEM (local visa office) ang processing. After stage 1, our applications are transferred to the local visa office.

i just have a general question. Im hoping somebody can answer. I am based here in Canada and I am in the process of sponsoring my parents, brother and sister. They just had their medical exam and have submitted additional information and passport as requested. I would like to know roughly how long it takes for them to get their visa...

help naman po october 2007 po nareceive application namen tapos may 2012 po start processing dito VO manila. In process pa din po till now june 2012 pa po kmi send ng passport at nka complete medical. my ganito din po ba experience dito sa forum. thanks po. Godbless

tin ganyan din kami 2008 naman kami lahat ok ay na nasend na namin lahat yung need na documents ng CEM yung passport sent already last june 2012 till now in process parin yung ecas sana nga dumating na yung passport with visa natin soon..

Sino po nakakaalam or nakapag try na mag request ng Singapore Police Clearance from their Embassy sa Philippines?

San po ba located? Hows the procedure? And how long did it take you to get the Clearance?
