I forgot, keep your status as single, If let say you are in relationship, dont ever go for a secret marriage or as common-law (live-in couples/partner) it will jeopardise your PR application. A friendly reminder...

Dont worry, when the CIC-Manila asked you to submit the updated docs on Dec 2011, you proved that you're still studying up-to-date and that's enough evidence for VO to issue your PR visa under dependant child with your mom. About your age, don't worry... it was locked-in from the 1st time you submitted your application in CIC-Manila.

Jan 31, 2012 - Passport & other docs submittd
Feb 2 -- re-xray (me)
Feb 15 -- medical was sent to the embassy(mother)
feb 23 -- my file was sent to the embassy

yep dun napabilis tho d kami naapektuhan ng ondoy. pero my sister asked a consultant last year ang sabi d dw kami kasama
dun sa me priority processing for ondoy victims.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hope it will be visa. Thank God!

Btw, I think you would have to prove/show proofs to CIC that you were victims of ondoy, so I guess your case doesn't belong to those.
But it is also possible that it was mixed with ondoy victims' application, as it was passed on oct 2009.
You're so blessed.

Ask Ko Lang kailan nai-forward sa embassy ang Medical Results nyo? Saan kyo ng nagpamedical? Kasi ang bilis ng Decision Made sa application nyo. At ilan pala kyo included sa application?

Hello,
Please see my timeline below:

Aug 2009 - filed application to sponsor
Oct 2009 - application to sponsor got approved (it is faster than normal coz of Ondoy typhoon)
Oct 2009 - application filed in cic - Manila
Dec 2009 - my family (mom, dad, and 4 siblings who are minor included in the application) received Acknowledgement of Receipt
Dec 23, 2011 - my family received medical request, passport request, and sponsor asking to pay Landing Fee.
Jan 14, 2012 - my family will have their medical exam
Jan. 25, 2012 - my family forwarded updated documents.
Feb. 15, 2012 - nationwide forwarded Medical Results to the embassy.
Waiting for VISA ....

s nationwide clinic makati kmi ngmedical naforward ung med results ng mother q feb15 aq feb 23. Mother q lang saka aq ung dependent nya. So dlwa kami

I sponsored my parents and my 2 brothers and 2 sisters are included in the application because the are all under 22 and still dependent of my parents (they are six in total).

Sa nationwide-Baguio sila nagpamedical. Feb 15 na-forward Medical Results nila, so hopefully this month mag-Decision Made na rin sila.

Update ka lagi ha... Lagay mo din waiting time from Decision Made until you receives your ViSa

So Feb 23 medical recieved by CIC then Visa at March 13...Wow It was 3 weeks only.

How do you recieved your Visa, By DHL or LBC ba?

My mom medical test just forwarded today March 14 to CIC according to NHSI.

I hope my mom can get her visa quickly too.
