You can submit the passport and other docs on or before 45 days then explained to them his NBI to follow once it release, sabihin mo din kung anong date nag-pa medical and parents mo. I would recommend NHSI for medical, dont go to St. Lukes.. mahigpit sila sa mga parents. I have 2 friends who sponsored their parents and both of them had a medical in St lukes. The first one had medical on October 2011 till now di pa rin tapos ang medical, the other one had medical on Dec 2011 ganun din hanggang ngayon di pa rin tapos dahil andaming pina-te-test. My mom had medical done in NHSI on Feb 6 and redo-xray on Feb 14, then she got her visa on April 19. Another tips, if you pay your RPRF you have to inform CPC-Mississauga to validate the payment and tell them to notify the embassy in manila.
Tell your parents to do a water theraphy for a week and drink milk everyday before medical
good luck to your family
Code:hi guys! nakareciv kami ng letter nung apr 24, for med request at addt'l docs plus passport.. nakalagay dun isend within 45 days from the date nung letter w/c is apr 10.. yung father ko mkakuha p ng PCC after 20 days.. magalanganin kami sa araw.. nasusunod kaya yung 45 days n un?.. by the way ung sa medical w/in 60 days pa.. so nagaalangan lng kmi dun sa 45 days..thanks!
northyork_beaver said:Well, for NHSI or Comprehensive Pulmonary Clinic, these 2 clinic are good for parents to undergo medical test, but for teenagers or middle age you can go to St. lukes or NHSI.. it is your choice.
Good luck

May mga anong po sana ako since my parents were also sponsored by my sister.
my Parents were sponsored by my sister last 2007 and I was 17 and still a minor and so I was "part" of the sponsor package because I was still a minor back then and now I am 22(this age I am still a minor in Canada I think) and this January 2012 we had our Medical Checkup and all documents were sent passport, barangay certificate etc.,
Here are my questions:
1. How long do we wait for results?
2. What documents are we waiting for? what papers? (all I know is that we'll get a permanent residence visa?)
3. Once we have our permanent residence(*hopefully get approved) how many months are we given to sort things out here in the philippines before we migrate to canada? 1-2 months?
4. Does the Medical Checkup indicate that we are a shoo in for the PR?
Reason for number 3 question is that I want to work first to get a job experience since I just graduated this March 2012 and would like to know that if I work I won't be forced to quit in 1 months time.
I heard from my sister that it is hard to find work in canada if you don't have experience and is a Fresh Graduate
Thanks for answering them, actually I did not stop I just recently graduated last March 2012 and was wondering if I could have a chance or time to get a job first before migrating to get experience since I heard that it is hard getting a job there w/o experiences.shakeyy said:1. Did our medicals January, sent our passports along w/ NBI, updated Schedule 1, Cenomar
2. Depends, from another forum, she was asked for Transcript of Records and letters from school as proof for continuous schooling after they did medicals. to check if her bro and sis were still studying before getting their PPR (another forumer from Pinoy to Canada)
3. got our DM and Visa last week, validity of visa is from the date the medicals were done
4. I'm 26 years old, and from one dependent to another, just an advice: it's always safe to go back to school and don't leave a gap between schooling unless you get your PPR. Just don't take the risk. The bro and sister from another forum stopped schooling after medicals but embassy sent a letter and asked for TOR (case to case basis but take no risk ).... You can back read what happened to them in Pinoy to Canada forum.
actually less than a year. April 24 kami nag DM, will expire January. We'll fly on June 5.dags said:Thanks for answering them, actually I did not stop I just recently graduated last March 2012 and was wondering if I could have a chance or time to get a job first before migrating to get experience since I heard that it is hard getting a job there w/o experiences.
So you guys got 1 year before the visa expires for your permanent residence visa? So does that mean you have a year sort things in the philippines before you migrate?
We did our Medicals, NBI, updated Schedule 1 and Cenomar last January also and it has been 3 months we haven't heard anything yet so we we are hoping atleast mid May we'll hear the DM soon.
Pano din po magcheck online ng ecas anong Identification Type na po ba? ang madalas po namin chncheck ay yung Immigration file number with B*******?
