Recently got PPR and sent the required documents via VFS Services in Seoul. Does anyone have a time estimate of how long it will take to receive COPR?

Thanks!

To answer my own question, we sent the documents to the VFS (visa centre) in Seoul on 1/11 and received them 1/23.

Applicants living in Korea must send it to the visa centre, not Manila, to be processed. We sent the following items:

- copy of passport
- 2 passport pics
- PPR e-mail print out
- Appendix B form (just my partner listed as we have no dependents)
- VFS consent form
- Payment to VFS receipt print out (we transferred it online)

You should visit the VFS website and request they send you an e-mail about PPR. This contains all their information and gives you the most updated information.

Just curious if anyone uses this thread? My wife is a May 2016 applicant.

Before SA, it is common to get an email request for additional documents - your Schedule A form. For us, we got the request 8 days after AOR1.

I suppose that if there is missing information...missing form they would request additional information. So your application is still at CPC-M?

thanks. from the checklist it seems that they dont require Schedule A form(m sponsoring my dependent child only).
let's wait and see :)

So let me understand this. You and your spouse are permanent residents in Canada, but had a child in your home country. Now you need to sponsor your own child?? Wow! I never thought that situation was possible. Of course there should be no issue sponsoring the child. I would imagine that this should be a fast case.

What is your home country?

To clarify you, i have moved to Canada permanently at the beginning of this year. Otherwise, I can't sponsor the child. my family is still in my home country . Once the baby gets PR, they will move here.

That's an unusual situation. I hope this gets done quickly for you so that you can be reunited with your family.

Hello everyone ! Just curious if anyone is still active on this thread (specifically people living in Korea). My husband (Korean) and I sent in our application and they received it on November 3/2016. They asked for an additional police check, besides the one we sent in, a little over a month ago.

How is everyone's timelines looking?
