Dear Friends,
My agent just made a second follow up email last week regarding the status of our passports + visa and answered the same as the first follow up 1 month ago that the file is still on queue for finalization and if I need my passport that I should write a letter but this time CEM said they will no longer answer any query regarding this issue. Problem is I'm working abroad and just resigned from my work and nearing my notice period. Sobrang distressing itong paghihintay, I need a reliable source to tell me why it's taking so long it's more than 90 days already. :-\

Hi freetorch. We can only speculate on this and the Visa Office won't give specific reasons for it. Although the writings on the wall indicate that priority has changed to the post june 26 applicants.

Why don't you try writing the CEM and indicate the need to get your passport back. Ganun ang ginawa ni ndpadin and binalik ang Passport nya with the Visa on it.

Thanks Heatspine, I'll probably do that if worst comes to worst. I have only 140 days left till the visa expires. Hirap lang talaga gumalaw pag walang passport. :(

Thanks mimi. Here's another food for thought. Around end of February naman nag-start mag-issue ng visa, and of the 64 we have on the list, 24 were already issued. This is roughly around 41% for the past 2 months. If you look at it that way, mas nakakaginhawang tingnan kasi may progress naman pala :)

whoever is in charge should empathize and give us updates atleast. What CEM is doing is quite unprofessional.

Still, in my opinion, we can't demand what we're about to be given. :(

I pray somebody in CEM would understand our agony of waiting. This migration agenda that we chose as we know will change our lives.

I think CEM should tell us the cause of the delay. So that we can go on with our lives. ang hirap were all out in limbo. We have set our plans or time table according to the processing time given to us...Some of us have resigned from work expecting early release of visa. and every passing days, weeks or months we are spending good money on monthly expenses...time of enrollment d biro din yan..added expenditure at iba pa. If at 10k for monthly expenses at 6 months malaking bagay yan. Pamasahe na yan or rent sa pagdating mo dun or fees payment for eligibility for nurses (karamihan ciguro d2). And truth must be told that others may have borrowed money (loan). Nang hiram sa kapatid or relative, sinanla titulo nang bahay or sold properties with a heavy heart in exchange for our visa's. Syempre migrate ka and mostly what happens is you sold it at a bargain price. Nakakalungkot namn. We have heard stories like this. Now we are at their shoes..

Sa mga may sariling business mas malaki gastos mga employees mo, account recievables, payables mo, or loans di biro yan di rin kadali magclose theres so much to be done on paper works.

CEM should not prohibit us from our inquiry...Mahirap ang kinalalagyan natin. and they should understand meet lang sa gitna so us not to burden them also. I Think? :'( :-* :-\ :-X :P ::) 8) :o >:( :)

God Bless us All :)
