mimi - O nga eh. kung hindi ka naman scheduled mag exam ok lang yan wait haha. Ma miss mo talaga ang Pinas. Lalo na yung food. BIli ka na mga long sleeves na pang pasok sa uniform haha.

nursemich - sa ONtario ako mag eexam, first choice ko Toronto then 2nd is Hamilton. Kung wala pa visa mo, ang deadline ng to change schedule is april 15.

Sana tumawag na lahat satin ang DHL. Ang aga ko nagising wala pa haha.

Hello everyone, I am in same boat but my CIC is different I have one question if anyone can help me I sent my passports in 9 December, 2010 till today no news always says its in que waiting for assessment I don't what kind of reply is that? my medicals expire just two weeks ago now there is any beyond grace period for medicals? or I have re=do the medicals. Please help me and advice what should I do.

hello belize... what is you visa office?... and why was your PPR so late?...usually the PPR is released a few months after medicals are done that's why i asked... and from your information above, you just sent your passports last dec, which is just roughly three months to your visa expiry...

there is no grace period for medicals... i know of a friend whose family had to go through the medicals again because the one year has lapsed already and their visas were not processed... the reason for their delay is the closing of the sponsoring company that issued her husband's offer of employment...

your case is different however as you already received your PPR where the visa validity is indicated... i remember it is stated in the PPR that visa validity dates will not be extended for whatever reason... though i believe your visa office will reconsider your situation due to the fact that it was their office who failed to issue the visa on time...

goodluck! have you tried telling them of your plight through any means?...

wala ininform sakin about deadline, buti sinabi mo, ang sinabi lang sakin ung 50% nalang ang marerefund ko kung sakali ndi ako nakakuha ng exam.. can you tell me kung may website na pede icheck..

Nasa cno.org sya sa examination schedule may kasama dun na deadline for rescheduling your exam. Pag ata hindi ka pa lagpas sa deadline libre ang pag lipat ng exam hehe.
Kasi nilipat ko na rin exam ko from February to June 1, wala na bayad kasi nainform ko sila before nung deadline.

check mo na lang sya. April 15 kasi, after nun refund mo nga is 50% na lang ata.

just to share our situation as well, we (my wife, eldest daughter and I) finished our medicals last 19 November, 2010. We've also sent our RPRF last 12 November 2010 (although haven't checked if it has been encashed). We had our second daughter last 10 September 2010 hence her medical request came in much later. We finished the medicals for our youngest around 06 December 2010. I guess, technically, we should be taking on the timeline of the last member of the family who finished medicals right? So from 06 December 2010 until now, we haven't received any request for our passports. So its been 4 months now that we are waiting for the request. My concern actually is similar to this....that our medicals would expire before we get our visa. Question is, what expiry date would be applying for us? Will it be the December timeline for my youngest daughter or will it be our timeline (September)? Will the embassy be treating us as a batch or will they treat us separately in terms of deadline?

can't help but think about these things as time is ticking away and we are still not sure of the plans.

I think they will treat you as a batch, as you have only one application (principal applicant + dependents). My daughter had her medical exam 8 months after we had ours. when we got our visas date of expiry were all the same (date was based on the earliest date of medical exam)

I think they will treat you as a batch, as you have only one application (principal applicant + dependents). My daughter had her medical exam 8 months after we had ours. when we got our visas date of expiry were all the same (date was based on the earliest date of medical exam)

thanks for that info sigfrid....this means we would end up with very tight timelines to workon. hopefully we get at least 2 months buffer to manage all the preparations.
