I got SA on March 11 and Manila VO received my application on March 17. So it took about a week. But I think CPC-M forwards applications every so many days. A week would be a good guess after the date of SA.

That sounds good to me. Thank you wonnie. Oh wait another question, whats the next step after Manila VO gets my husband's application I mean after they send you AOR2. Thankssss. :)

After Manila VO receives your application, they will start initial review for missing documents, medical exams, or passport request for some countries and will send you AOR2. After a while, they will process and make decision on your application. But the timeline is definitely case by case. I am December applicant and Ecas still shows medical results has been received. A few December applicants (even January applicant!) already got DM on Ecas. Good luck to your application! :)

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to share with everyone that I finally got my AOR by email today. Quick question does that mean they acknowledge that the application was done properly?

Hi wonnie. May I ask, how did you know that Manila VO received your application on March 17th? Does this mean you receive AOR2 on March 17th? I got SA on April 21st but no AOR2 until now. Thanks.

Hi Mhikyla12, I got my AOR2 stating that Manila VO received my application on March 17 on April 22. No additional documents requested and no passport request. You probably need to wait for a while until you hear from them. Good luck!

Congrats Kyo!! 1/2 of step one is complete. AOR is a response saying it has been received, but not necessarily looked at yet. Shouldn't be long now in a couple of months we should be seeing from you a big "yeeeehaaa" at the completion of your 1st stage.

Thanks Chris. Ah okay, I took it as if they look it making sure all the documents and supporting documents were there.

I hoping someone with a similar experience can help me ....My wife has attended the seminar and has her gcp sticker on her passport. My question has to do with my daughter. she is 3 years old and has both a Canadian and Philippine passport. At the seminar my wife was told that my daughter would need an exit clearance in order to leave the country. I don't think this is true since she has a Philippine passport. i would appreciate hearing from anyone that has gone through a similar situation. Can my daughter leave using both passports or is there still something missing?

Hello eveyone. Anybody here who paid the rprf and enclosed receipt with the application? how does it affect the application process and the processing time? Thanks guys!

Hi guys. Below are the fees of what I have paid to sponsor my spouse who is outside Canada. I paid a total of $1,040. Is this correct?

Sponsorship Application - $75
Principal Applicant Application - $475
Right of Permanent Residence Fee - $490

I have included the receipt in our application package.

Thanks all.

That is fine, its actually a good thing to do as much as possible upfront, Leaves less of a reason for any slow downs while they wait for the RPRF fee to be paid.
