Ok just got off the phone with my wife.... guess what...she is only staying in Thailand about 5 days to close out her things and then flying back to the Philippines and gather her belongings back at her parents place. So she will need to complete her PDOS CFO etc. ...

What is it that she really requires in order to leave the Philippines after?

Thanks
Chris.

It's the seminar for pre departure orientation, she needs to attend guidance counselling for her to get exit stamp of her passport with the visa to pass the border .

Hello all!

Congratulations to all those applicant received PR recently. I hope I can get a PR this year.

My application was transferred to Manila VO in March 11 2015. Since I am from a visa-exempt country, I did not get any communication email from the Manila office. My Ecas still shows Application received. What is the average time to get PR approved for people from a visa exempted countries? I did upfront medical exam on July 2014 and just wondering if I should re-done already before it is expired.. Any comments are much appreciated! :)

Hi wonnie;

I think it's better to wait for them to ask you to redo your medical exam. I read somewhere that they sometimes extend the validity of your medical exam. Plus, it'll save you money.

If she's done on the seminar then she can have let them stamp her passport.and they need her visa to see it and have copy.

Here we go again.... Every step, it is possible to have stress!!! uggggggh booking agency screwed up the booking some how and said they didn't get paid, and the airline is now holding the funds from my card with no ticket issued. The airline is being nice and really trying to help, they will hold my booking (bypassing the agency) till the end of the week to give the banks enough time to reverse the charges to my card. When the funds are released I can call back the airline directly and pay them. I might have learned a valuable lesson tonight.. do not always use the internet to search and book tickets ... Give the airline a chance by giving them a call.

sorry for a bit of a rant... but wow just when everything looked like it was finalized.
Good thing we have some time left.

It's gonna be alright Chris, you will be reunited soon and still have time ..I hope your wife is already done on seminar too so things won't be so complicated ..goodluck!

Chris.

Ditto only few more weeks to go and then you will be reunited with your wife. Hang in there. Roughly once the application have been sent to CIC, how long does it take for them to approve me to be a sponsor?

Congrats to evryone who received their pr:))))

Share us what tranpire during the stamping and whats needed:)))

Thanks

@ Verry Happywife

Thanks its just frustrating and the reasoning is really stupid as to why the booking got messed up...I am guessing because the ticketing name didn't match the card holder paying the bill me lol. Some ones automated booking system is messed up. Hoping to have this all fixed by Wed or Thurs.
I talked to her about the seminar and she thinks she will attend it when she arrives back in the Philippines as she is quite far from Manila at the moment.
