Are you taking residence in Alberta? or are you just planing to do the landing there and move to Ontario?

If you are planning to move to Ontario I believe you are still required to wait the 3 months for Provincial health coverage.

You do not have to wait 3 monhs for OHIP if you take the Sponsorship Approval letter which your husband recieved. You have become elligeable for OHIP 3 months after you became elligeable for the PR (I.e when your husband was approved to sponsor you).

Hi everyone! I'm sorry this is off the topic. I have received my visa and COPR after 8 months of processing in Manila VO.
On my application and COPR, I mentioned that I will be landing in Ontario with my Canadian husband who works and resides outside Canada.
I'm currently pregnant and due in June 2015. We are planning to do my landing on April 2015 in Alberta instead. As there is no waiting time to get a health coverage in Alberta. Do you it is ok to land in Alberta and not in Ontario?
Please help! Thanks in advance..

Good to hear that 8-month processings are still possible out of Manila. (We don't have the same backgrounds culturally either.) There are a lot of conspiracy theories floating around.

Take another look kayaker. There are no listings for sept 2013 and, well, personally my listing is gone. Anyone know what's going on??

Since this spreadsheet is open to everyone, maybe someone inadvertently messed it up...? I wonder if anyone has an earlier copy of it saved or something. (fingers crossed)

This is sad news. I personally have not touch it for a long time but I did like the fact that anyone can edit it, but has risk of someone making a mistake. We had a similar experience in the March thread, that is why we limited to the people who can edit to only 3 individuals.

All changes made after Nov. 20 have been discarded and has to be reinserted in the spreadsheet.
I want to add that I don't think the 2 columns I added are the cause of the mess up, this is the risk taken for having an open spreadsheet.

Thank you so much, Edgehead78!!!! I'd hoped somebody out there saved a version, but wasn't very optimistic about it. It was a pity the spreadsheet got messed up; there's a trove of information in there!
