Very good question. Well, we included 9 passport sized photos of my wife but we did not include photos of any family members. What caused confusion is that the Sponsorship package asks for 9-photos of each of the family members. But no, that is not necessary. Only focus on the applicant.

Thanks! and do I need to sign all of the pictures?

How about Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR)? do we need it?

Yes, that is one of the requirements according to this document: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3905e.pdf

Scroll down to Page A-2.

Please provide us the following:

Hi everyone,

I got an email from Manila and saying

・ Fully Completed Appendix A (attached) for you and each of your family members, whether
accompanying you to Canada or not. Passport details are not required for any family member who
is not accompanying you to Canada.
・ Your valid passport
・ Police certificate. Please see the attached letter.

I was wondering if this is a passport request.
My friend didn't need to mail her passport and still got a PR card so I thought I would't need to either.

Is it a good sign or should I be worried??!

This is the PPR.
Which nationality you are? If you come from a visa exempt country like Japan, you only need to send copy of passport bio page. If you come from non-visa exempt country like Philippines, you need to send the original passport so they can affix your visa inside.
You should not be worried but happy because you are getting close to the end.

Yes, that is a passport request... you need to send your passport and the other
requirements, like Police certificate and Appendix A,

ahh... some contries like Japan, are Visa exempt and do not need to send passport,
but that is not your case as they are requesting Passport.. remember that every case is
different... you follow what they ask...

Congratulations....
Good for you, you are close to the end....

I'm from Japan but I guess I have to mail my passport anyway.
I'm glad to know they are working on my case tho.
Thank you!

My understanding is that a person has to be either Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to sponsor someone.
