Nope no news... still in limbo.... I wish i cold go there a wait the process out. But i am still recovering from a back problem from the summer and doubt a long flight would help that

Does she have a phil health card? My wife used that

Good question I'll check when she wakes up :)

She has been working in Singapore before this process for quite a few years so I'm not sure if she has a health card.

Does that card have a picture on it or did they accept it anyway?

Asked for passport on Sept 4th... they received it on Sept 10th i believe. She did the meds in Jan, I think the 24th

They 'magically' said our visa was ready a day after I emailed them and asked when the medicals expire (Dec 3rd) and if they can extend them if they aren't done processing by then. Maybe you'll get lucky if you do the same.

Or in any event the standard 45 days starts ticking on the 4th?
Think you better prepare Mrs Gooner some woolies :)

Good move emailing...seems they're really avoiding the extra paperwork remeds require!

Do you have a flight booked for Vancouver yet? Sorry if it's earlier in the thread I may have missed it.

No, I will book the flights, as soon as she gets the stamps done, she has done the CFO thing already just needs the stamps, but both her and I are paranoid, so stamps first, then thickets once everything is in place.

And thanks to everyone for the congrats, greatly appreciated! So glad it is almost frigging over with now.
