Well after a few weeks of mercilessly harassing the MP's office I received a couple of emails from them this morning........

This letter from Manila to the MP's office

Please be advised that this application has been finalized. The visa package will be sent shortly. Visa validity is to 04 October 2014.

About fooking time!!!!!! sum-beotch, we will actually get Christmas together!!!! just waiting on DHL or AIR 21 or who ever the hell to send the visa back north, and the misses can take care of getting that damned counterfoil stamp and get packed (she has already done the CFO course, just needs the stamp) WOOHOO!

Oh of course, ECAS still says the application was received last year :

One more question for you folks.....when you submitted your Apendix A....did you include a new batch of photos????

ALSO.....on Apendix A do we need to include my (sponsor) Canadian passport info......I dont think so ...but can someone confirm that please???

By the way Ms Steph....gave up going through the summer's posts and we decided to submit the passport instead of holding onto it to travel..

Yah i included more photos as well as a bunch of western union receipts and Credit Card bills.

ALSO.....on Apendix A do we need to include my (sponsor) Canadian passport info......I dont think so ...but can someone confirm that please???

No you don't need to include your info.

By the way Ms Steph....gave up going through the summer's posts and we decided to submit the passport instead of holding onto it to travel..

If youre asking about the passport photos because of the Appendix B attached, some members including myself submitted more because I didn't know if I should or not. Altho, one member phoned CEM to specifically ask and said that if it is not in the list of asked requirements, it is not needed

Thanks everyone! Just got off skype with the misses, after getting S**t for waking her up in the middle of the night but she was good once she got the news, and congrats to everyone else....

IAY - yes I need to fix that error (never noticed it until you pointed it out) in the side bar. Yes by all means get a hold of your MP and hammer on them, that is what other have had to do here as well. And that means emails, and follow up visits to their offices, the quickest way for the to get rid of you, is to get you fixed up.

Scos, got withdrawals for a couple of other missing bits of the relationship I won't be to occupied by the wait for the PR card

Davidalistar, put no faith in ECAS, our will probably change some time next year, when we are no longer checking it. My wife will follow up with harassing AIR 21 or whomever on the phone looking for her visas instead of checking on that now. Although I will say, there is a part of you, that after 13 months of giving the stink eye to ecas, that wants to see that confirmation on there to make it "real".

Yes we did, My wife wanted to make sure there was nothing that could hold up the process... but i am sure there will be something else

yes for sure, if the mountain doesn't come to us.. I'm predicting big snow this year, there was none last year and we are due! Last big snowfall for us was in '96

I should have been specific....yes...thats exactly what Im unsure about..the tail end of the communication requesting her passport was a spec sheet for photos...
I suppose when in doubt it never hurts to throw some in...

Congrats again Dan and Cranberries for the DMs. I hope Iay, Gooner and the others who hasnt received DM's, IP's, etc will get theirs soon. BTW, for those who got their DM's, did you guys get a call or email from CEM? Is it generally safe to assume DM = VISA?

My husband wrote my name on the spouse column altho I am already the sponsor. We just left my passport number blank since non-accompanying people don't need passport details.
