We already did that sis Iay. Hubby went to his MP last september and told him that my papers is okay to go. On my gcms notes the last date they updated my papers was on september 13 and on my paper file in my gcms notes it says: application assignments:assigned to -VO, due date-october 6. Group name: FC 3A-straightforward-for officer review/waiver confirmation. Application status reason- in progress.

i want to ask - about school of kids from Pinas, when they arrive and enroll in school in Canada, does it matter if they finished the school year on March 2013 or not? What are the bases of year level (i got 3 sons yr8, yr5 and kinder) for enrolment there? It is age of the child or what year level he finished in the Philippines?

Another question, that just popped into my pea sized brain as well, I know my wife has to get her CFO counterfoil/sticker deal to leave the country, does our son need anything similar to that as well? (ie: is there a juniors version?)

I need to know that as well. My daughter is under 2 so I think I am ok. But who knows anymore. Sorry your file is taking so long. We handed in the passport at the same time. I am still waiting too.

To Dan and Auditt, I'm pretty sure the kids would still need a sticker from CFO (just like irisgirl's), but ofcouse don't need to go through the seminar. I'm not sure tho if it's still needed if the child is already Canadian, coz for sure he/she has Canadian passport.

Ok good to know, I will get my wife to double check that when she finally gets her bloody visa back from CEM, and see if they need one for the little guy as well. Thanks Iay!

Heh folks....Tagum just went through this process when his wife and child/children left in early October....he was talking about registering them...with CFO...dont recall him saying more than that...check in the thread about October 2-4?

For what it is worth, I did receive an auto reply both times I ordered GCMS notes. I don't know if it matters or not, but you at least have your receipt you can refer to for any inquiries.

I would like to deliver a good news!
Our agency has recieved confirmation letter of my husband's PR visa on Oct. 13th in Canada time and the letter is now being delivered to our home by mail. We are planning to pick up his visa this weekend at the boarder!

Here are the following information:

They recieved our application on Dec. 13, 2012
Medical test: Nov. 26, 2012
Sponsor approved: Jan. 14, 2013
Passport request: June 18, 2013
Started processing our application: Oct. 4, 2013
Visa issued: Oct. 13, 2013

It was truely a surprise happy thanksgiving gift for our family!
