Thank you... Yours is coming soon.. I hope everyone here will have their visa soon... Actually, I emailed CEM before. I told them to please have consideration to us especially those who have near medical expiry. I used a different email address and didnt mention my name. They didnt reply.. But at least they have read it.

Guys, can I buy ticket online? CEM said that they only need the booking certificate even if it's not fully paid but I think it's more cheap to buy online than in an agency.

On Philippine Airlines, you can reserve a ticket online without paying for it yet.. I wonder if that's it?

Or is it just their way of saying buy a ticket, but if you show up and for some reason you don't get a visa we are not liable

It's just a reservation document. Do you think it's alright if we buy online ticket and show it to CEM instead of just a booking certificate? The good thing is we can now buy online then we can go to CEM by tomorrow. If we are heading up to a travel agency, then we cannot proceed to CEM by tomorrow.

If I used a credit card to buy online ticket, do I need to show in the airport a copy of the credit card and I.D. Of the credit card owner?

It is much better to have a scanned copy of valid ID and the credit card of the owner in your hand just to be ready.

Agreed! All the airline websites specify this in the fine print so better safe than sorry!

Did you cc every body else who is important, like your MP and the Immigration Minister in those emails? Generally if you carbon copy someone's boss it will get better results.

Not meaning to imply that you're doing anything wrong though... if I were you I would be going ballistic by now. Don't hold back on emailing them every F00king day if you have to!

If you do it with cathay, you have to present the card, or you can go to their office in makati to have the ticket verified. just dropping by to say hi to everyone!=D
